I noticed a few issues in the phone. Asus have already provided 2-3 updates, so 1 MONTH LATER, I wanted to use the phone for a few more days to check if the issues were fixed. Anything else? Ips as better colors, Amoled only good thing is black does not take much power, but Amoled burns, ips lcd does not burn are much better for long/much gaming.
At 9:55 when comparing both displays asus 6z display looks like it has more deeper black than oneplus. You can notice it by comparing the blacks with their respective chins.
thats the difference between a premium compamy and chinese ...asus is giving expensive display whereas op is giving cheap quality amoled ...amoled doesnt mean it is good
i noticed that as well. However im guessing that the camera is not directly overhead but at a slight angle, therefore the overhead lights are giving some glare or something perhaps.
I actually don't like the in display fingerprint sensor. Couple of reasons: 1. Not secured like physical one 2. Slower 3. Not comfortable like physical one. If I need something in the front to unlock- I have already the pattern and pin, which are a lot more secured than the in display fingerprint sensor. 4. In the fingerprint area the brightness needs to be very higher to accurately read the fingerprint. (As far as I know) My question regarding this feature- in the long run would it harm the display? 5. Costly comparing to the physical one.

Hi Ashwin.. Your reviews are to the point and your advice is genuine.! I wanted to know a bit about 5G connectivity. Which if the current phones/processors will support 5G when launched ? Will Snapdragon 800 series (820, 821, 835, 845) support 5G? And 700 series ? Can u please make a video on that ? Because this seems a peculiar time to buy a phone as 5G might be launched within a year from now and if these current phones won't be 5G compatible then I think there's no use of buying them ?!
@Technology Jock - I am looking to replace two phones, two numbers, which is why this phone stood out as I think it can run two SIM cards plus an SD micro storage card all at the same time. My goal, on a budget is to make some RU-vid videos which will require a decent camera and for the pice have it down to this phone and the LG G8 which I can pick two up for $620 at T-Mobile if their BOGO is still going on. I need to use it outdoors in the summer so need to be able to read the screen in sunlight. I will probably use the phone with a Gimbal, pick up a mic, lights, tripod and ??? The camera on both phones comes with pro mode and dual speakers on Asus and the DAC on the LG. Similar specs between the two although that does not mean the two perform equally. Have you compared this Asus to the LG G8? What are your thoughts on this project and phone selection? Your videos are thorough and your humour enjoyable. Thank you.
At 9:52 Asus seems to have more inky and deep black ! Just see😂, btw you are doing a really good Job Since years! And this will not go in vain! You will reach the 1M mark soon for sure.
I really enjoyed the concept of this phone, but only if they had an amoled screen and an underdisplay fingerprint scanner, that would be a big seller. Amoled displays also make the phones a bit thinner, so it would feel better in hand. In comparison with OnePlus 7, it also has a bit worse thermals, which should be alleviated too. Only three issues, easily fixable. Hopefully Asus fixes these things in the next iteration
Hi Ashwin - Quick question, is the earpiece sound improved now? I take a lot of calls via earpiece and need a phone with GREAT earpiece quality. Also talk about SAR value.

Personally it's a matter of what you want , Biggest selling point and difference between the two is display quality vs battery size( 6z being the bigger battery)

The asus phones had a problem of heating.....and also the phone used to get restarted very often. I have experienced these in the asus zenfone selfie. Do these problems do persist in the newly featured 6z ??....pls answer me brother.

A photo from Asus 6Z's Auto Panorama camera is very poorly captured. There are pieces of moving vehicles on the road. The electric wire between the two poles also has pieces.

Hi Ashwin, I really dont understand when people start talking about design and other stuffs in their (1 month after) videos. This is not an unboxing video right? Then why to touch upon these points? Please its a request to just talk about your actual experiences with the design, the type of updates obtained, whether the phone is performing well or slowed down, camera improvements if any, battery performance etc etc. I know i might sound vague, but thats what an after 1 month should be right?? I bought this phone on launch day itself. Although initially call quality was extremely poor with crackling voice but after multiple updates i am not facing this issue anymore.
@@akshat0047 i have not experienced this reboot issue. Currently my asus is running on android 10. Asus will replace your mother board without any fuss. I have had extremely good experience with them
Ashwin bro.i have a serious prob here.i have 40000 rs to spare.so im fine with any phone in that price. i need a full screen experience so opted out op7. i just want to make sure. in asus 6z and k20 pro.which give the best audio quality in head phone jack.(not speaker but jack) and which is the best camera for taking photo(im not into selfies so.i dont take asus as an winner in there.) i need to know which camera gives best perfomance normally in lighted condition and also which device gives fast update.fast update means better camera .so

Only thing that made me to think about other option is its call quality ( earpiece is worst). I have asked many buyers of 6z and they confirmed that issue is real. Call quality is poor.
