Hey guys, this is my first unboxing video ever, so don't make fun. I'm new to this. :P
Here, I unbox the ASUS External Slim DVD-RW Writer Unboxing and Review (SDRW-08D2S-U). I currently use it on my MacBook Pro which is essentially the replacement for my SuperDrive, where I will install another Hard Drive bay.

I know you posted this ages ago, but my dad bought me this today and I'm not sure if I should open it, is it only a dvd burner or can I play music and watch films on it as well? probably the stupidest question ever but I just want to be 100% sure:))

You can watch DVD movies but not Blu-Ray movies. You can play any music CD as well.

You can make it stable just have a little bit more logic and you can get it to sit up sturdy enough to open and close on a daily basis. Just think.

does it just burn or does it do both like you can watch movies and you can burn stuff too?

can it burn different name brand cd's like Maxwell Phillips and Memorex for music and can it also burn dvd's for movies. Like if a cd is not rw rewritable can it still rewrite the cd or what burner can do that ?
