@@jnut9494 No. Not at all. The RAM I have was rated for 3600MHz. It isn't being overclocked. Although it you are having heat issues I am quite sure there are heat sink options for RAM and you should check the directions of the fans inside your PC. Make sure they are flowing air through the machine. In on one side and out another. Not all in or all out. This is a surprisingly common issue.

The most direct and functional video, you deserve much more likes. Worked for me, i was having BlueScreen on a 16GB 3000mhz ram kit, because i use DOCP, but i leave the Voltage at factory1.35v... After change it to 1.400000, is working fine. This OC market, is soo hard some times, if the rams comes at 1.35v why they didnt work fine at 1.35v XD, soo much headpain released now! Thanks man!

To the people who have problems.. I read in redit that there are people that change the slots A1 and B1 to A2 and B2. Andddd yeesss! I tryed and it worked! The result is: Change the Slots of RAM and do what the video say, thank you 😁

32Gb of new RAM wouldn't work to bring it up to 64Gb...I updated the BIOS and one of the new cards worked, so was 48Gb total instead of 64Gb. Then I applied your settings and now have all 64Gb of RAM at 3200 MHz... Thank you!!

Not gonna lie, I got a little nervous when I went to exit the bios and I had a blue screen (which isn't what really bothered me, figured I could just go back in the bios and change it back) but then I went back in the bios and the bios was frozen. But fortunately after manually restarting my computer and checking the bios to see if the setting had applied, when I booted into windows it did indeed work

What's the difference between docp and docp standard? Also, why are you running your RAM at 2933mhz if the docp profile is 3000?

Thank you soooo much! If any of you watching this video because you tried to only change the speed of the ram and you couldn't boot your PC after (PC turning off and on and being told the PC is unstable), this video will solve the problem! You only need to activate the AI overclock tuner again and it will recognize the speed of your new ram and max all your settings so your PC can process and operate it. Again thank you!!!

@@jasondonavich2758im guessing ur motherboard isnt compatible as cpus can use 3200mhz ram even if they are only compatible with 2666mhz its 2666mhx they’re stable with my 9400f works with 3200mhz but if i go to 3600mhz it will crash

You will NOT gain much (1%) through this overclock, but you will only be proud that you have achieved a higher efficiency. The ram memories are forced to become unstable and you will wake up with restarts without being able to save what you are working on.

I actually had to set DRAM timing to 3133 (even though it’s 3200) to get computer to boot to windows instead of the reset screen. That’s after turning DOCP on per this vid.

To fix it I had to reinstall the cmos battery. Then upgrade bios to latest version. After that the video works perfectly . Hope this helps ppl

hello, one question, should I get a build with i7-12700 and ddr5, since it is said that the ddr5 are now not the best I wanted to ask you what I should pay attention to when choosing a motherboard as optimized as possible on the hardware side with this ddr5 technology in view of the future (even bearing in mind to overclock the RAM in the future to 6000 / 6400MHz)? if you can recommend some technical specifications, or what should I give more importance in choosing the mobo knowing that the goal is to get one that I would use with RAM banks more mature than I would buy in 1/2 years when the ddr5 will no longer be "immature". So hypothetically it goes better than the others with DDR5 of the future in practice😅. I ask you pk informing me I noticed a big difference between models of ddr5 motherboards, both for problems that some cards give and others not, and for better or worse optimization of the hardware. Fixed my problem of using DOCP not making my computer boot up. I had to switch the RAM to the other 2 RAM slots, now I could use DOCP to push it to its normal MHz

I've done this several months ago, mine is 3600MHz & shows 2100MHz. It will show 3600MHz in Task Manager/Performance when doing this. But actually it's still 2100MHz. When I boot back in BIOS & look to the upper left in EZ mode, it will still say 2100MHz. Also in windows not BIOS open a command prompt & type wmic memorychip get speed It says different than Task Manager.

@@kaantkrdi yes i think it had to do with the compatability between the ram and maybe the motherboard so it cant go as high as it should. what i did was go where u can turn on xmp and under that there was like an option where you could manually chose how much mHz u wanted and i basically just turned it up a little bit each time and kept rebooting my pc and checkin in taskmanager if the number showed and i did that until it didnt show in taskmanager anymore (at that point it was too high and it went back to 2133). my ram shouldve been able to go till 3600mHz but in the end by doing this method i could get it up to 3000 before it reset again. even though its worse than what i shouldve gotten its stil better than 2133mHz.

I'd recommend using the EZ mode if manual settings are giving you issues.

Solved! I inserted the ram into slot 2 & 4. (I was inserted into slot 1&2...) Set 3200 in bios and boot successfully. PS. I can't find my ram model in the supporting list of my MB official website. Hope it's help.
