Asus ROG ALLY Keyboard Issue (not displaying on setup/wi-fi)

What about when you turn on the rog and randomly the keyboard just stops appearing automatically? I setup ages ago and have all updates, its worked until just now where the screen is always zoomed out and the keyboard no longer auto appears..

Any idea how to get the built in keyboard to work in game? I’ve tried mapping buttons and everything else I can think of and nothing works not even shortcuts

Thanks, same issue out of the box here. Hilariously half baked software out of the box. The first update there were like 20+ on windows update, plus a bios update that wiped out my windows pin, I suspect due to bitlocker issues or whatever. Oh well, fun times with early adopting. Love the hardware though.

I was having the same issue with the keyboard, Thanks. The worst part is I opened up my ROG Ally right now at work and the plastic lining had dust all over it and the screen had a small deep scratch on it. I will have to return it later today at BB. I just don't understand how there would be a scratch on it already and the dust inside of the plastic film,, SMH...

can you type like that with two hand on the screen? lol I didn't see someone do that yet... I always sue the trackpads from the deck. I'm getting used it !

Sadly I had to restart once prior to getting there. Just select the proper keyboard and don’t try to skip that step. Not sure if it matters but annoying to have to reload before setting up.

I'm not even getting that menu and I tried the macros thing too and it still won't pop up. Guess I'll be getting the Steam Deck, hopefully mods work on that.

I'm at the initial set up trying to enter wifi password , none of this works ? Anyone have this

I've had mine 48 hours and it's a buggy mess. Does all sorts of random stuff and freezes regularly, particularly with the EA app
