@@AynaxTech1 No, I am from the other side of the Atlantic. I think I'll try to fix it myself. But I don't think I'll bother to open it up. I'll just cut the cable instead, and try to solder it at the middle. Otherwise I will lose almost all of the cable. Would have been better to use a spare if they were on the market, but when that's not an option, this will have to do. I actually found your vid when googling for spare cables. :)

@@AynaxTech1 By the way, how would you protect soldering at the middle of a cable? I'm thinking of using electrical tape, do you think that's enough?

I have another cable if you can used it but for sure not like the original one , also its 5 wire you must to test each cable , in the middle of your cable its a hard to protect it but you can try and let me know about any update

@@AynaxTech1 is it a standard USB cable they use? Could I just butcher one and use it as a replacement, and use your approach with that one? I'll try soldering on the middle first, and see how long it holds up.
