There is no problem if the battery is not disconnected in the box laptop but the battery must be disconnected if the laptop is used. Thank you Don't forget like and subscribe my channel for more informative videos.
Thank you, sir. Could you please help me with my situation? I’m planning to upgrade my SSD and recently discovered that my two SSDs are configured as a RAID 0 array. I've purchased two new SSDs, but I’m unsure how to proceed from here. I don't know how to set up RAID 0 on the new drives, and I’m also uncertain about how to retrieve my old data. Could you guide me through the setup and data restoration process?
Take data backup first. Press F2 Key for BIOS. Go to BIOS ADVANCED MODE (F7) and you will get option to make all RAID 0. Thank you Don't forget like and subscribe my channel for more informative videos.
@@technologyhelp24 and how to retreive my backup data to my new ssds? Doo i have to install a windows in new ssds, then i install the application that make the backup and restore it?
@@respectspell2137 Honestly, if you have to ask then you are NOT equipped to do it well. But, try this. Use an external drive, preferably a fast one!) that has more or equal to the stored data on your already striped drive (raid drives). Then make an image .. do you even know what that is? look it up! .. of your drive and save it to the external drive. Now. Once that's done, you can remove the two old NVME SSD's, safely put them aside and just in case (because you are a noob) put a sticker on one marking it as drive 1 - the other doesn't need a sticker, right? - just in case you need to reload your old system, in case something went wrong with the image. Now. Install the two new disks. Set it to RAID0 in bios. And restore from image. And if you don't know how to do those things then you really shouldn't be doing this in the first place. My advice is to learn how to do these things with devices that don't store your data. One screw up and the data will be gone. It's important, once proficient, that you can do this with ease. I could when I was 10. It's not hard. But it is a process and to some people it is overwhelming. And that's how they make mistakes. My real advice is to take your laptop, your drives, to someone who knows what they are doing. Pay them. It's money well spent. Ask to watch. Learn something.
thank you for the helpful vid, im looking to upgrade my ram to 64gb and i was wondering if there is any particular reason you picked 4800mhz ram instead of 5600mhz? Is 64gb at 5600 not compatible?
There is no particular reason to choose 4800mhz RAM over 5600mhz. 4800mhz RAM brought by the customer. Thank you Don't forget like and subscribe my channel for more informative videos.
@@technologyhelp24hey so the day came and the new ram arrived I picked the same brand @ 5600mhz and the system didn’t boot. I tried one stick at a time incase one was faulty and it still didn’t boot. Tried the old ram and it booted fine. I used a program called “ram expert” to confirm the maximum ram allowed on my system and it says 64gb. I’m going to send the ram I bought back and try the 4800mhz I just don’t understand why it’s not working with 5600mhz ram speed. The specific laptop model I have is G834JYR-XS97 and even on the asus website it shows max ram capacity is 64gb
@@technologyhelp24I ended up reverting bios settings, changed page file back to automatically select, and removed any extra charge in the laptop by holding the power button down for 30 seconds with everything unplugged. Then I installed the ram again and it booted right up. Thanks again for the vid showing how to install the ram
Great video! Question - Does installing the brand new 2TBx2 (1 in each slot) remove Windows from this brand new laptop? Will it still boot up like normal or is there something special you have to do? I’ve only ever upgraded memory before. Never an SSD. The replacement seems simple just wondering about Windows.
