@@nativerezmedia yeah I have a bunch of micro center near me and they have both the Asus and nitro. I actually got the nitro but I’m thinking about exchanging it for the Asus

Yeah, you can turn overdrive off and on. This is a pretty good panel. Nothing real funky that I've noticed.

Yeah, lots of the 2022 models are discounted.

Slightly, but no different than most 15.6 inch gaming laptops. It's slightly under 5lbs without the charger.

100% sRGB it's a very nice display, bright enough for most usage.

Also, look at the ROG strix G15 version... It cost about 100 more bucks, but you get a free backpack... It's missing the Cam, and no ports on the right side. But it has a few extra features like the better rgb, and no num pad if you prefer that style.

@Native Rez Media oh wow, so they did improve the display on this model. 👏 have u had any issues with it overall? I really like this model, it looks like a good deal at this price.

@@arash5565 no issues so far. The models that have the 144hz display or pretty bad. The 300hz versions are much better with color accuracy.

No, it ramps up and stays decently cool for a laptop.

The A15 definitely has the better screen... The AMD processor is slightly slower, but not by much. Ultimately they are the same, but the A15 is the one I'd pick overall... Just because the screen is much better.

@@Cloudie9 you're gonna pay a lot more for a 40 series laptop in the same class... Honestly, you're not going to really see the difference in gaming... You might get a few more frames, but, nothing that's going to make a huge difference... But you're gonna pay $400-500 bucks more for a new model.

Basically yes. But the FPS is dependent upon the game you're running, most AAA games won't get that high running a 3050Ti or 3060 like what's in this laptop.

The Lenovo Legion 5 ryzen with the 3060 wasn't bad either.

No, mine felt fine. I had that issue with my Asus Rog Strix G15... Did all the updates and it went away.

@@marcosfmtb did you go in and adjust the trackpad settings?

Make sure everything is up to date, even the bios... There were several updates I had to install when I received mine... Drivers, etc.

Are you asking time on battery? If so, 1.5-2hrs gaming... And 6-7 hours regular usage (internet, RU-vid, etc).

@@nativerezmedia damn, I have the same model but I only get 1.5-2hrs of battery (Regular Usage) (not Fair...)

@@akshaykadam8480 what are you doing with it? And do you have Optimus turned on and the screen brightness to 100%?

To get 7-8hrs of usage you have to turn off the discreet Gpu and the screen has to be at 50-60% brightness.

@@nativerezmedia well, I dont game on battery apart from tht i use it for Internet Surfing(RU-vid,Social Media etc.) or for work sometimes and as for my settings I have kept it on Performance, GPU to eco mode(with 50-60% Brightness).

No, you probably could find it or a similar laptop for less. I think the 4060 laptops are going to be about that much soon.

@@neogamer210 yup, same price for the newest tech. Lenovo had the legion 5 with 4060 and a 16" screen for less than $1200.00. If you could find this one for around 800 or less then it's a bargain.
