Hi, I just bought this exact model with same GPU. I noticed in performance mode when the laptop is not plugged in, it lags a lot. LIKE A LOT!!. As soon as I plug in my charger everything is smooth again. Do you also face this same issue? and what would be the ideal solution here. I tried everything like turning off startup applications and other background apps but still no fix for the lag. I have dual booted with ubuntu now, and it seems the problem is only with windows 11 as ubuntu is working quite flawlessly. Would really appreciate your response. Thanks for the amazing review.
bro If you are searching lap for programming get a consumer laptop, U need more battery life ,this one isn't that .I'll recommend you to go for mac or consumer lap with good battery life if you aren't getting for gaming
Do you how it compares to the same version but with a 3050?. My local tech shop has both but the 3050 is 500 more. Is it worth it to spend abit extra or not?

The tgp of this laptop is 75w which is much more than acers 30w tgp of the laptop that you mentioned. Benchmarks show that 2050 will win just because the tgp value.

if you are wondoring ho much i get in battry if i am just web surfing . 4hrs is your ans if you protect battry to 80% or you wil get 5hrs (less) if you charge full. but how to get that . 60hz frame rate (it's good in web surfing) . noo keybord light. barrty perfromance in win and silent in armory carate . nothing more .

Because there is no difference in performance between these two, there is only a slight difference in quality.If you just want performance then buy any cheap cooling pad. Or if you want build quality along with performance then you can buy a expensive CPad!
