Having this card for several days. I must say i am impressed with the acoustic and thermal performance. The system runs almost completelet silent. My max degree is around 64 for esport gaming and 68 for AAA titles.

rog strix is 350 watt ftw is 300 watt tuf is 270 watt so tuf is the worse for overclocking

There's still a supply issue with RTX 30 series TechBroll. The only available I see on lazada is 36K and that's overpriced. Other sellers show it as out of stock.

I just got a brand new ASUS TUF 3070 card to replace my old 980ti and I installed it into a asus rampage extreme v mother board with 8 sticks of ram and 1000w power supply but I go to turn it on and it powers up shows gpu fans running just won’t display and after about 40 seconds it will turn itself off then I went ahead and took out the ASUS TUF 3070 to try and see if my windforce 980ti would display at-least but just more of the same

hello, I have brought the same card from ebay.. a used card however it is as new .. the temperature of the 3070 tuf gaming arrives to 90 degrees while gaming and 42 degrees idle. is that normal? do you think it is a corrupted or malfunctioning?

I bought mine also through ebay, 6 months ago. Still came with the plastic protective sheets. Looked brand new, original box. Idle temps are around 30c and under load 55c never over 60c. I recommend you change the thermal paste and pads.

@@martincorona179 mm depends, since for example if he plays esports games itz the other way arround and the CPU becomes the important part, bnot the GPU since in games like valo where you have to play on low when playing in leagues etc. then the CPU is so important that you could put in a GTX 980 and it wouldnt make a difference its just there fore to display a picture, the 3700X in games like these gets destroyed by 100s of FPS by the 5600X and especially the 5800X3D, night and day difference, for esports, the CPU is more important then the GPU, FACT ;) :*

@@cadenelson1444 there's plenty of 3070's, 3080's and 3090's here in New Zealand. It's because NZ currency is beyond retarded that's why. Most of our 3000 series RTX cards cost over $1000. Check on trademe.co.nz or any other NZ tech stores and search it up, you'll see. I bought me a second hand ROG Strix OC 2080 ti for $1320 instead of a 3070 that cost $1200. I bought it for game dev tho, not gaming. 3070's are cheaper compared to the others 👍

@@vladvah77 i actually ended up buying and selling this card, the aluminium seems a bit thicker than the gigabyte one, and asus had a better design at the rear bend where the gigabyte broke.

What's your PSU wattage? and do you have two separate 8 pin PCI-E cables? One PCI-E cable with a splitter will be a bit risky.

Your question helped me to search for what I was looking for in a different way. ie. whether my Corsair RM850x can power a 3080 with the cables included Found this >>> forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=199784 I found an 8 pin cable in my PSUs box (similar to the forum post) but it seems that's for the CPU (?) so I will need to buy 2 dedicated 8pin PCI-E cables. Correct? Or at least one extra, and the other one can be the 8 pin part from the 8+6 pin I have currently on my 1070. Alas, long gone are the days when the GPU was getting its power from the slot, aka Riva TNT :)

It's not compatible out of the box, I had to set the PCIe mode to Gen3 for it to work. I honestly forgot to include that detail on this review but I'll most certainly will add that on the actual build video. As for the benchmarks, don't worry as I did them with the graphics cards directly connected to the motherboard.

@@nourc7719 It's NOT true bro, a Ryzen 5/7 powered system needs only 1 - 150W and another 2 - 300W for the video card ( when gaming ) so A GOOD 5 - 600W PSU like Corsair, EVGA or Seasonic will work!

No idea pa since di ko pa natry, watch out for reviews ang titignan mo lang naman usually is thermals, otherwise di naman masyado magkakalayo ang performance unless may difference sa factory overclocking
