Hello David, Thank you for the review of the ASUS Vivobook 16" OLED laptop. I purchased mine last Friday and I am suitably impressed with it's performance. I would like to ask you if you happen to know if the NVMe M.2 1TB can be replaced with perhaps a 2 TB or 4TB capacity as I find the 1TB perhaps a little limiting once I load up all the video editing apps I like at my disposal! While it is not a major problem at this time I can see 1TB being a limiting factor in the near future. I did try putting in a Samsung 2TB 860 EVO with the original ASUS OS, but it was not recognize by the ASUS Livobook 16". Do you have any thoughts or advice regarding my desire to increase the on board storage? Thank you in anticipation.
@@DavisFangTech @HarTechFr Okay I understand. I have a Razer Blade 15 Advanced 3070 (Early 2021) and it runs hot so I was looking for a 4070 laptop that runs cooler with similar specs. Thanks for responding though and awesome channel!
If laptops were this cheap in asia, specially in my country Bangladesh like america, I would have already purchased ROG Zephyrus G14 instead of the Vivobook 16 OLED 4K (which I got today)
Can anyone help me with a photoshop issue using this version of the ASUS Viviobook? When I open a photo from camera raw into the workspace in photoshop all the colours are muted - it’s driving my crazy trying to work out the issue 😢😢😢
the last thing i'd ever care about is what nonsense is on your laptop, as long as it doesn't have silly stickers of cartoon characters you're fine, trust me. I really like the orange accents, it's like that old Braun design. The dial is utterly useless, it's just a bad idea on a laptop in general, if i really need a dial mechanism for my workflow i'd just rather buy one physical like the surface dial and plug it into the laptop you know?
1. The built in dial was made for its portability just like the track pad for those that doesnt want to carry mouse around. It doesnt bother non designers who just want to work and play games, its actually customizable. 2. There is a the Asus creator version of this laptop which is more expensive that actually has a proper dial in built on the exterior, also more expensive. 3. The name alone is cringe but its also a niche laptop, Asus are testing the waters to compete with the m3 pro and m3 max pro, and i think price wise is superior to apple.
DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE! ASUS knowingly had manufactured a defective design After only 4 months, the computer's hinge has broken. They will repair under warranty, but it must be sent in. If you can afford to be without the computer for a month, go for it! But know that you will have to get it repaired within the year.
