The use case for 180° hinge is that when you're working in a corporate MNC and your manager asks to show the work you've done you can just tilt the screen like that , grab his hair and smash his face on to the screen and walk away. Mostly for one time use.
Tbh the real use is if say you are keeping the laptop on the lap while lying on the bed or if you have a stand you can adjust it as much as you want tbh, without worrying you'll accidently break the hinge while trying to adjust it @@TrakinTechEnglish
I sold off my Zenbook 14 OLED Q425MA and bought this one instead. The zenbook had the following issues: 1. Coil whine noises 2. 1080p display 3. Overheats (Has only 1 fan for cooling)
It was a great rewive. Should i go for this or lenovo ideapad Pro 5 14" with Ultra core 9 185h and 32 gb ram? Which is cheaper than this around 1,05,000. I am going to start my university studying computer science, pls suggest i am really confused. Thank you
I bought Asus Vivobook Pro 14 Oled 1.5 years back for 55k Must say Asus makes some beast laptops... I love the performance.. And the 90hz AMOLED screen is wowwwwww for watching movies ♥️♥️😍
@@srideepprasad no issues.. actually asus has a option enabled by default named as "Pixel Shift" that can be seen in background apps running.. it automatically chages the pixel after certain time even if the screen is stationary..
According to me 180° bend is a safety feature as by mistake you slam your elbow to it instead of cracking or cracking the display just bends (idk if it is right or not)
I think the chasis is better there along with other hardware like speakers and camera. Is lighter and more portable. Even the battery is better. So the zenbook is a notch better
the zenbook 14 oled 2024 has a lot of coil whine. and overheats from time to time (zenbook has a single fan for cooling, vivobook has 2). for these two reasons, i sold my zenbook 14 oled and bought the vivobook s16 oled. i'm happy with it!
Of course, the AMD version. Don't get fooled, they reach almost the same performance but regarding iGPU AMD is better, you can search videos of game comparison.
@@xoradatoNot really, those gaming videos are 7 months old and Ultra Chips weren't optimised that time! According to "Hardware Canucks" Ultra 7's Arc iGPU is slightly better than 780M on Ryzen, while at similar or infact lower power draw. Also the CPU is bit more efficient than AMD!
Does this laptop support all mechanical engineering design software packages like CATIA, unigraphics, ansys, abaqus, nastran etc,,. I heard yes from60% and remaining no
I found 180 degree hinge helpful when my 2yr small cousins while playing around somehow accidentally fall on edge the display and my laptop lays 180 degree completely. If this feature isn't there, it might be end of the hinge and display.
How is this laptop for Netflix? I have Zenbook 15 flip oled, which has Dolby Vision, 16:9 display, Harmon Kardon and Atmos, 96watt battery. 16:9 displays are better for multimedia. I love my laptop, using for 1 year, from Pakistan.
Sadly, Ryzen version isn't available in India, not sure about your country! Why not just go for IdeaPad Pro 5 8845HS at this price? IdeaPad Pro is far better than this, well built and has 84Whr battery!
Vivobook vs Lenovo IdeaPad Pro Vivobook 16: 3K OLED Core Ultra 9 16GB (Soldered) 1 TB SSD 1,29,000 IdeaPad: 2.8K OLED Core Ultra 9 32GB (Soldered) 1TB 1,10,000 Now why should i pay 20,000 more for less RAM.
The use for 180 degree is to lay it flat and keep the laptop slant on your tummy and watch Netflix and if you’re tired you can always put it down just under the bed and keep a pillow under you and watch
@@duck_mangrove it's not always about the way it looks. Good ips screens put oled displays to shame when it comes to durability, reliability and some other factors.
@@sarthakchavan4549b I'm using S16, Trackpad is smooth and Precise but does rattle on bottom right corner! Built of Metal, but not so dense, there's flex! Doesn't feel like a 1Lakh laptop at all, feels way cheaper! Lenovo's built is far better! I don't know about the motherboard failure though!
Everything is perfect for me, except for the 16-inch display, which is too large and could hinder my portability. Is there any 14-inch laptop out there in the same price range ? Please do let me know...
Have seen videos about it, low settings 1080p tends to play smoothly on Genshin. Aside from that, you should find an AMD model if you want a better performance on graphics.
Good configurations, good display, proceesor and overall quality.. but its overpriced.. Doesn't offer any value for money.. I can easily get gaming laptop i7 13 gen with dedicated gpu 4060 or even may be 4070 in that price bracket.. So I won’t be interested at this price.. According to me it offers good value around 90k. We can't expect Asus vivobook S laptop to compete with price bracket of full fledged gaming laptops like Asus tuf gaming, Acer nitro, Acer predator, Hp victus, Hp omen etc... Anyone will prefer full fledged gaming laptop in that budget..
It's TrakinTech, they nowadays do only Collab-Sponsor videos and don't know much about Laptops anyway! I really feel bad when I notice the difference between Indian Tech Channels and US Channels like "JustJosh".
Tbh I prefer Lenovo yoga pro 7 with amd 8845 hs Asus has lost its reputation and I can’t really trust asus . So Lenovo is the best And actually it offers more value and overall is a better quality product at less price .
