Idk about this one but i got the ux5401ea i5-1135g7 version with iris xe and 3k oled display. After cleaning the fans and replacing the thermal paste with arctic mx4, the laptop is smooth and cool. I like it.
This is why we don't need more tech review channels. Idiots who add nothing useful to the conversation and just repeat stats and opinions which 10000000 other youtubers have.
Do you think it is a good laptop for a CS student in university? Im planning to bring my gaming pc to my dorm and use this laptop for the lessons and for watching movies from my bed.
@Top-Down Tech Akala ko pinabayaan mo na po tong channel mo na to eh. It's good to see na may upload ka na sa channel mo ' to ba miss ka na ng foreign subscribers nyo po.
@@TopDownTech Hahaha If may lang time knows namin na bukod sa may work ka Full Time Dad ka rin ayaw naming magkasakit ka. Kaya Go lang po Sir Janus nood at support lang kami kung saan video ka mag pop out.
I’ve been trying to do so much research on which budget laptop to get for school. (University) I used to have the MacBook from 2013.. I also live in California and am worried about the cooling systems. Any recs?
Would still recommend you stick with the MacBook if youre used to that. The MacBook Air is a wonderful choice right now if you want something really slim and powerful.
Hi top down tech, wanted to ask if this laptop can still deliver on some games like genshin impact, nba 2k24, gta 5 on the lowest settings on 30-60 fps.
I got the UM3402 with the hex core Ryzen 5. By far the best battery life I've ever had out of a non-useless x86 machine. Runs a bit toasty though, I need to dig out the ol' MX-6.
Hi! I have the same book and I have a huge issue: blurry fonts especially on external 4k display. I came to the conclusion that this trouble caused by intel gpu drivers - as I uninstall it the picture turns sharp and crisp but external monitor doesn’t work. Have the such issue?
The touchpad on my Inspiron 14 became faulty within 4 months of owning it (brand new). Wifi connection is spotty. Touchscreen has stopped accepting stylus input after two years. Audio jack doesn't work. Don't get the Inspiron!
I have a serious dilemma going on in my head. Do I take a Zenbook 14 OLED with 16GB RAM and 1TB NVMe SSD or a Vivobook 16x with 40GB RAM and 2TB SSD? I've been saving money for a laptop for very long time and I have no idea what to do
Yo brother, if you can afford the vivobook then defo go for it, it's gonna be wayyyyyy quicker than the asus one, however if you have that kind of money i would look for something better
@@awaismuhammad4413 the vivobook is just the standard vivobook, not the pro. So the price tag isn't too hectic. Either one will set me back the same amount.
I have a similar dilema.. I am choosing the zenbook because it it's easy to carry and at home I have a desktop that does the heavy tasks. Also the zenbook feels more premium and I will not be gaming on it. If you want to game there are good TUF units for the same price or good specials.
@Carlos Leal see,I want it for 4k editing mainly and the zenbook doesn't have enough ram for it. 16GB might not be too thorough. So I think im going with the custom vivobook
Dont be. It has build in options to last it longer + if You are afraid You can always hide the menu etc. With screensaver on there shouldnt be any problems. Its like with TV - it may happen but its not for most sold units.
@@Dimitris-sf5pr ask people with TV's, check tests etc. It may happened, but it happenes in lowe % of cases + if You will remember about screensavers etc. i think you will be fine.
I like more muddy screen colour like mac air (m1) but i am considering zenbook 14 because of bigger screen size and more memory. i would use this laptop for working on documents, canva and video editing occasionally Which one is better for me?
A glossy display without a touchscreen seems like such a waste. I know they did it for improved image quality but I wish there was an anti-glare option. At least with a touchscreen, the compromise is worth it.
@@lextr3110 that's why I didn't get a touchscreen. Love my OLED zenbook but sometimes touch can be useful. But it's okay. At least my screen isn't covered in dirty fingerprints.
@@Worthless. After a few months with this laptop I'm glad it has a glossy screen and no touch display. Image quality is phenomenal, no SDE, and no ugly fingerprint grease on the screen.
