Depends on environment and how close to subject. All mid range phones sound the same, if audio recording is a biggy for you. Use a TRRS cable and a Rode Mic Pro like I do.

Can't tell the exact figure since I have bunch of photo/video, few games, fee benchmark and some camera apps. But within the 55gb mark plus/minus. Quite standard among 64GB phone with custom OS from any manufacturer. Plus 16/32 micro SD card are cheap.

Overall usage (battery and camera) zen 5 is better choice, nova slightly lower battery life (we are testing them at the OFFICE)

Based on the reviews I've watched nova 3I is just better on the front cam and the internal mem. So I was just picking zenfone 5. Thanks for sharing your review btw

Calvin Pixels its useless, i read from some guy they out of stock of snapdragon chipset. In Indonesia is just to reassembly and build the phone. Or maybe because of the third party seller, they bought and sold at higher price. I found some sellers in shopee sold it for around 4,8-5 million IDR.

if you find a good smarthphone for gaming i suggest you to buy max pro m2 because it has bigger battery and sd 660 but if you find a smarthphone with good quailty in all aspects,you better choose zenfone 5 because it has nfc,front back glass,good cameras,and the other thinks

HDD 2.5 yes, SSD confirm as long both cables are under 25cm for phantom power to work.

Update to newer firmware under the setting menu or factory reset. If it still act up, spam the Asus zentalk forum with some snapshot so they can fix it via firmware updates. They regularly release update every 2-3 weeks

Mix feelings on that, ZenUI has faster access to little thing in their apps (esp the settings/camera?drag menu), Mi is less controls to keep in simple. Both UI are smooth but it boils down to full control (asus) or simplicity (MIUI). For me battery management and camera are important.

App Drawer and customization lies in the core of Android, while MIUI, at first place, doesn't have an App Drawer, everything stays on the home screens, and have way less or minimum screen customizations. Additionally, Asus offers Splendid to control Display Colors, best if you're reading some article on the phone and need to keep your eyes engaged for a while, you can reduce colors(blue), that'll not hurts your eyes.

Good, much better than the Zenfone 3 zoom that Im using. They finally got the skintone right (after 2 years).

Since few people wouldn't understand the choice made by asus: 1. SD 660 (old) is little pricey compare to 636 (new)(processor price differs depending on order quantity, Asus being shipping lesser than most competitor), 660 support 2K display but Zen 5 (2018) uses a FHD+ display. No need for overkill. 2. 636 slightly efficient cause is newer and better for battery longevity, how often you use 2.2Ghz? yes boot up apps faster after that? 1.8Ghz much better battery to performance ratio. 3. Check few comparison site for 660 v 636, essentially 95% identical. 4. RM1300 is cheap, it made few brand like huawei to revise their price in Msia (RRP/new MRP) which was much more expensive. Problem is not the processor or price, life is simple dont make hard. :)

The front camera is do-able of course better than the iphone6 which I'm using till today. If selfie is important get a phone with 13mp front facing camera.

Perfect 10 as in? of course is not as good as the main rear camera cause is using another sensor, smaller aperture and little distorted. As a semi-pro photographer I don't feel limited by its limitations. No one camera (even medium formats) are true 10/10. Chase Jarvis once said the best camera is the one with you. So worry less ^~^

Since it was launched in Msia, there have been 6 updates, few of which improve the camera (HDR, and iso noise reduction), I use 3-axis and tripod is some cases.

In my case maybe one of those updates cause my HDR mode to become worst i dont know why hahaha
