This guide was very helpful, but some parts were misleading. The main board is attached with adhesive, which isn't shown in this video, and takes a bit of prying to get up. The battery adhesive was (at least for my phone) non cooperative as it was old, even when heated. I eventually had to gently use the pry tool underneath the battery to get it up. Additionally, I'd advise against using so much, if any, glue around the front camera, as glue getting displaced onto the camera lens by pushing the screen down will destroy the camera.
I followed your video and successfully replaced my screen, but since then I randomly loss cell signal. The phone will say no service, I have went back through everything 3 times to make sure every connection is good, everything time I look I see no problems. Any suggestions

Hi Guys from Wit Rigs, I have a Zenfone 5z that turns on, but the screens remais black, with no signal, but if a press the touch screen, i can fell the vibrator working and the loudspeaker works too ... I thought that the LCD was broken, but when i tested with another LCD screen, its doesnt work too, i think my mother board is working, but failure in the LCD part, do you guys have another motherboard to sell, or schematic of this board, or even some tips for me ?
Yes that seems like a motherboard issue, to confirm which part is broken you can send it to repair store and let the repair guy fix it. We don't sell motherboard yet, sorry for that.
Hey Peace Lover, were you able to use either a ze620kl or a zs620kl's screen onto the zs621kl ?. Wondering if the LCD's are the same on the 3 models. Can anyone help ?
