WacKo ips is fine but if givin the option i take amoled everytime. Also zenfone 5/5z have a great ips panel very nice colors and has good visibility in direct sunlight. It having a ips display should not detour you from buying it
Shubam Narayan The only thing that people like me are still uncertain about is how long Asus is going to provide android updates? OP has a rich legacy of providing the latest android and is officially supported by project Treble.
Brendon ! At The Disco has the mi 8 launched in india????? We will talk about it when mi decides to launch it, they will probably launch the lite version of mi even if they decide to launch, and also i dont want a bomb in my pocket
Good comparison. Thank you. How does one go about getting an Asus Zenfone 5z in the US that has more RAM and storage as I think only the lower end is available at this time?
Sir, I would like to say the same thing. Sir both devices are very much the same powerful sd 845 processor but the price of Asus zenfone 5z is very good, only front camera will perform a little less performance. otherwise everything is fine asus zenfone 5z i think
Hello, Hope you doing fine. Very few people on internet doing "reviews on Single reception quality of smart phone". Everybody compares Price, Camera, Display and Processor etc but nobody thinks about phone's single receiption quality, which is one of most important factor. Could you make videos on "review Single reception quality" , price range of the smart phones around 10 - 20 k or 6-7k to 20k ?
Excellent comparison and its nice to hear a reviewer actually mention the weight of a phone because the lightness of a phone is a key feature for me. My 5Z will be here in 2 days and it will go head to head against my Mate 10 Pro to see which one stays and which one goes.
ASUS ZenFone 5Z, value for money, better warranty, greater with it's AI features, superior cameras, out of this world audio experience. OnePlus 6 Dash Charging, Almost stock android OS, superior cameras as well. I'd pick Zenfone 5z anytime of the day.
Mark MyWords camera in op6 is after 6 minor updates but Asus still in its early stage edges out in comparison and with still a lot of room for improvement it will surely outperform op6 after updates
The camera is negligible and will be fixed or made better with a software update! "Value for money".... The OnePlus will continue to receive software updates for far longer than the Zenfone will! "Ai" features are a gimmick and will not age well! Regardless , they are both great devices and a decent bargain"price wise" and will get a good experience with either ! I personally would go with the OnePlus because I've seen a lot of the testing and R&D and it's made really damn good ! Asus is no slouch but OnePlus is proven reliable and much more personal....
It will get q , as Zenfone 3 came with marshmallow , got nougat and got Oreo in Jan 2018 . As I am an Asus user I am telling you ,ZF3 is a mid-range phone and still is getting security patches....that's impressive.
Why would you “settle” for limited storage, a dual-camera setup with just a portrait mode and a single speaker? More so, when you get all of this at Rs 5,000 cheaper? 😀 but mine main question is its worthy buy or wait for Mi 8? 🤔
Hi. Great review. Points mentioned in this video is mostly missed by other reviewers. Thanks. Is the loudspeaker quality very good, compared to LG V30? Or Galaxy S9+? Considering price of Zenfone, please rate in terms of loudspeaker.
Superb bro Thanks for the review Iss review k bad i can decide which phone is better for me. But one request Can you plzz make a comparison video between #Nokia7+ vs #AsusZenfone5z Kon sa lena behtar hoga in terms of camera, software update & battery life except processor Ku ki wo to asus ka hi best hai
uhaish gupta no..both are different mostly. Security updates(monthly/bi-monthly) fixes the security bugs that plagues the android OS envt. Whereas the official s/w updates update ur android version to the next one(nougat to Oreo or Oreo to AndroidP etc, it may also include sequential updates within the same android version i.e., 7.0 -> 7.1.1, 8.0 -> 8.1). Sometimes the official s/w updates contains the security update for that respective month too. And on the most part, security updates are more frequenting compared to official s/w updates that come once in 6 months or a year. OP said they will support official S/W updates for 2 years I.e., till androidQ. But they will have regular security updates bimonthly for about 3 yrs. Hope I cleared the doubt. Do tell, if I made a mistake so that I can change it.
This isn't a comparison, It's so biased, according to most other tech reviewers, OP6, Camera, Speed and Screen is one of the best, Asus Zenfone 5z can't even stand up to OP6's Performance and Camera quality
Hey #renaldo which diff u said is a minor difference and in miliseconds....like fingerprint or face unlock...if they r not working properly or take a min while...it was... Considering...but that doesn't mean we spend 35000 on smartphone which is equally to asus z....definately zenfone 5 is cheaper and better product to one plus....but if camera is a highest priority u should go to pixel not samsung....👍
My main drive in preferring the Oneplus 6 is the Oxygen OS. It is unbelievable. I have no experience with 5Z so have no reference with regards to the UI experience
Amoled display, clean Oxygen OS and more assured updates..these are the reasons OP 6 is better. I think it looks better as well. Asus is too blocky and square like. That said, I feel Asus is more value for money.I just hope they are regular with the updates.
5Z user but One Plus has a better optimized OS. Oh and Zen UI has got bugs. Also the camera shutter struggles in low light with delay around 4-5 min and not sure if the same happens in OP6
Few things are unclear. Type c is still 2.0 instead of 3.1 as per 2.1 UFS the read and write can exceed 500MB/s but being 2.0 it is very limited. the wifi is still outdated. 2x2 mimo. was it mu-mimo to extend could have support for vht160. Front camera only EIS. can be OIS .
Oneplus has become greedy. Though one can't blame them as manufacturing costs have gone up. If I had to choose I'd go with the Asus Zenfone 5Z because of expandable storage, better camera, better audio. The only thing in favor of Oneplus 6 is the near stock OS and Oneplus updates.
You are Wrong! Its not Anmoled, Its AMOLED display And there's not much difference in screen Quality in both phones Oneplus has some deep blacks, That's it Nothing extraordinary out there in Oneplus in Screen.
Don't speak something which u have no idea about. The screen on the oneplus is made by samsung and is one of the best 1080p amoled panel in the market.
Harikrishnan U 3 mics huh!! But the front camera video with mic recording in Ranjit's channel had mediocre volume and lots of background noise, in fact op had a better video recording with mic
No one is gonna purposely splash water on to the phone. My V5 has survived many rain incident and still going strong.Beside splash protection is marketing gimmick
Sometimes amoled has produced too much colour saturation that it looks so unnatural and can be very bad at true colour reproduction....so for me i prefer IPS because asus provide super IPS screen which is great...
D-lancer TV This isn't a comparison, he is only talking about Asus Zenfone 5z, barely about One Plus 6, OP6 is actually better in almost everything he actually mentioned in this video
Asus wins just because of warranty. If something happens to your One Plus 6, then say good byeee to it, or spend Rs14,000-20,000 for minor repair, like water damage. Yes even waterproof phones get water damage
