pretty sure xiaomi is still the same xiaomi today they have the cheapest sd845 device and it has 6gb ram too still making great budget devices like the redmi note 6 good midrange devices like the mi a2 6gb which can still be considered a budget phone honestly im just happy that 2 companies(oppo's realme, asus)has step up to battle xiaomi on this kind of stuffs

1:44 looks like there is an issue with notch in full screen, the notch intrudes in the video as it is slightly bigger than the black bar on top.. may it will be taken care of by asus through updates
