I think the benchmark scores are different because of the different RAM varients.

Bro!!! The face unlock performance also improved in the low light conditions. Before update, I tried so many times face unlock in low light, dark and artificial light conditions it never works. After update now it works in all lightings. I was surprised even it works in no light conditions. Hats off to Asus.....😍😍😍

Good job done by Asus but Please suggest them to enable CAMERA2API so that user can use gcam mod without root.

Face Unlocking also improved a lot. This can't be easily noticed under in door fixed position testing. On older firmware face unlock was not even working if our hair style, face to phone distance, expressions or lighting conditions are changed. But with the new update it has been improved a lot.

It is happy to see a company striving hard to improve overall user experience, most brands just focus only on selling the smartphone and doesn't care about the users. Asus is doing a spectacular job.

Now I'm surely going for this in next sale rather than Xiomi this time. Xiomi trying to Push up a lot bloatware through their miui even that I don't wanna use. This one has clean Stock Android and a Powerful processor with a Powerful Battery. Xiomi is doing a bad job in current scenerio as other company beating their Smartphones regarding price point also. Anyway Thank You So much for this Video as i also requested to you for this one. Going to be Proud Owner of Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1.

One more thing I noticed in new update is that , when I try to unlock phone in very low light condition , it does unlock the phone while before update it did not unlock phone so we can say that front camera performance at night artificial light has improved a lot . 😊

You have to check the Face unlock in low light.. Because i feel the update improves the face unlock for low lights.... I have tried in low lights it unlocks even in street lights...

Sir I'm also using zenfone max pro since 3 weeks and i have noticed that face unlock has improved significantly. Now even when kept on table the phone unlocks. But this update has a brought some bugs in the camera app. Thank you for your unbiased and honest reviews. Subscriber since 2016

Face unlock is improved in low light conditions. In old update it doesn't recognise the face in low light conditions but now it recognises the face in low light conditions try it

After update 1. Laging occurs some time 2. Equaliser option is gone in play music 3. Front camera improved 4. fingerprint reader improved 5. Battery drains quickly then before. 6. Face Unlock is improved 7. VoLTE enabled for Airtel Vodafone and Idea

Sir the face unlock has actually improved ... not in terms of speed but consistency....it now works in any lighting condition ...it also unlocks in zero light with the help of display light and now it stays locked when ur eyes are closed...it is now faar more consistent....now it works 90 percent of time rather than the 50 percent with older firmware according to my experience.

Sir please talk about the multi touch bug in Asus Zenfone max pro m1. This bug is very much annoying especially for gamers. Please let this issue be known to Asus directly. I have sent multiple mails and I get illogical replies of copy paste.

Sir face unlock has improved a lot on my Asus Zenfone Max Pro. Earlier it used to work only in good lighting conditions but now it also works in a bit low lighting conditions.

Ranjit sir the face unlock in the old firmware wasn't working in low lighting But now it even unlocks in complete darkness

Considering 1. updates till November end; 2. battery drainage; 3. high volume and very good quality of media via earphone and speaker (without MAX box); 4. call (very good quality, high volume (especially in traffic) and very good reception even in remote places); 5. very good customer support within and out of warranty in remote places; should I buy Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 (3GB variant) or Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro (4GB variant)?

I Really am in love with this phone. I was really lucky to get this phone at the flash sale from flipkart and i ordered the grey variant and in fact it looks way premium. As soon as i booted it up for the first time i have received an OTA update of about 180mb and the phone was performing well. 3 days back i got the new OTA update of about 340 mb or so and after the update everything seemed a bit faster. One Problem i had was that when i unlocked the phone using my fingerprint sensor even though face unlocking is active, the phone unlocks but there is also a second unlocking sound too. i believe the face unlocking goes on even though the phone has been unlocked via finger print. I restarted the phone and it kinda went off even though sometimes it occurs again but not as that of after the first boot after the 340 mb update. But other than that its a great phone to buy at this price range. Thank u geekayranjit. I watched your videos many times and it really helped me to pick up this phone. Thank you s much.

In update face unlock improved a lot not in terms of speed but in terms of precision it is able to unlock very accurate in low light conditions too... ASUS had fixed many bugs with this update and there are more to be fixed Hope they too are fixed... Hoping ASUS to provide updates continuously

There is quite a lot of improvement. Fingerprint senser is definitely faster. Volte for ides is working.

Is anybody facing a problem in multi touch flickering. While playing games like pubg ,a touch is so shakking. I think this is a software issue. Even i replaced my phone but facing this issue in this phone also. Please sir do something. Ask asus for update to fix this issue

i agree with you ranjit. i got this update on 8th of june. software update imoroves max pro a little bit but there is still room for improvements. i still fell camera is the biggest downfall of it. rest is fine. i bought 4gb 64gb for rs 11699 during flipkart last month sale. At this price point u cant expect much from this. jo bhi h jaisa bhi h itne me itna hi milega

Face Unlock is really improved sir actually..In low lighting condition...I have a projector..it unlocks with that reflection of projector..The best improvement was face unlock in my opinion sir..

this phone is awesome I bought 4GB/64GB variant as I wasn't able to buy 3GB version.. stilll no regrets extra memory and RAM is not that bad and rear camera is above average... Only reason to buy this phone was battery life and sd 636... It's an awesome device in those areas..Display is very good as well

After the update Face unlock works even in dark...keep the screen brightness max and try in dark

Face unlock might not be faster than old one but it works well in low light and even work in dark with full brightness though I have to closure it to my face Thanks for review

I made this update today. Zen motion double tap to wake up is not working. Camera fingerprint sensor speed is increased and a new volte logo. Asus should fix the double tap to wake up

try setting the animations at the same speed. then we will see if it really improved. i set mine to "no animation" so the effects are lessend to none, which makes it seemingly faster and responsive.

when this phone used with bluetooth head phones the sound out put of incoming and going calls is very low, its very hard to hear the voice of the otherside person, but its giving good out put when listening music with the same bluetooth divice

*One bug with this update* the rear camera is not zooming in potrait mode but front camera is zooming in potrait mode.

There's a bug in which the ambient light sensor is not working properly sometimes when I call for more than 20mins.
