I got the Asvine nib version of the V200, replaced the nib with a FPR ultra flex steel nib, made the ink flow groove of the plastic feed deeper using a knife and it's been an amazing pen. Then I got another V200, modified the plastic feed and put the Magna Carta Mag 600 nib on it. Both V200s with the FPR and Mag 600 nibs are now my daily drivers.

I'd love to win the pen. Topic suggestion for a future video: Use cyan, magenta (fuchsia), yellow and black inks (e.g. de Atramentis document inks) - and a Pantone color bridge chart to custom mix ink colors (using the CMYK percentages in on the Pantone chart). Using your "mass-o-meter" and an ink syringe, you should be able to get the percentages of each color fairly accurate. This demonstration would also give you the opportunity to educate your viewers on the nuances of the additive (RGB) vs. subtractive (CMY) color-spaces.

Thank you for all the great reviews. I really appreciate your attention and focus on the structural build of pens and highlighting the likely points of failure on some pens and how design iterations have improved some models. As someone that carries the pens around a bunch, I really appreciate that because it helps gives me confidence when using pens and carrying them around. I think Asvine is really doing some great stuff with pens these days, they are super well made and reasonably priced, not super cheap as to question the quality but not prohibitively expensive.

I have had the V200 since it arrived and am looking at another. I purchased it with the Bock Fine nib - it was same price as Asvine nib at the time - but I went on to purchase Bothe an Asvine Fine & Medium nibs. The Asvine nib permits substituting a wide rage of nibs ( the Bock only allows more expensive Bock nibs ). I think the Asvine nibs are both superior & more flexible and 1/3 rd the cost. I'm delighted with tis excellent pen. Winning one would be the best.
