They should have had a plan instead of expecting the US taxpayer to support them. Did they think they would just enter the country and be handed a job and a home? It's like a full time job just to get a job these days. The gov says they have thousands of job openings but what kind of jobs? Professional that these people don't qualify for or low wage earning jobs that you can't support yourself on. Many don't hire because they want to suck the life out of the people they have to save money or no one will apply because the wages are too low to live on. This is all a big joke.
I doubt it will work that way though. I expect these immigrants do not know what to do in winter. I think some will die and I think others will be begging at people's doors. Maybe not this storm, but winter is just starting really.

Did anyone notice if there were a lot of orange peels on the sidewalk at the end of the day? I would hate to see the mayor sue the volunteers for the cost of Streets and Sanitation Department cleaning up the orange peals.

In the cold ? Surly they already knew it was cold in the winter in the north east coast. However Venezuela and Mexico are pretty warm this time of year.
So disingenuous I will explain when you are homeless and seeking shelter it’s first come first serve so every night at 7 pm you must be in line for hours to get a bed and then sometimes you don’t where is the outrage for homeless Americans okey doke all of a sudden because they come from somewhere else
I hope it snows a foot!!! They turned down one shelter and expect the US to take care of them. I would walk over them and help our homeless before helping them. Volunteer organizations all about treating them well but they didn’t put this much effort out for our own homeless citizens. Biden and democrats created this downfall. Money should come out of their pockets.

When New Yorkers where sleeping on cold pavement for decades nobody give a thing Called myself agency when homeless man slept on pavement in such cold morning I was bundled in double clothes and still could feel the chil he was sleeping on cardboard and cover with some fabric but his bear feet were sticking out after arriving to work placed call to agency but next day he slept in same place in same manner My heart sunk he was staying there for long time
You know i do feel sorry for them...BUT do you think this is right as NYC has needs for there own....100 percent wrong as THE MAYOR started something that he had no idea about,now NYC pays and watch tax go up....take a few at a time should have been the song.....

Sucks to be them. I'm not even mocking them, I'm just saying I'm glad I'm not in their shoes. Imagine being so poor that you migrate to another country for a better life, only to find out it doesn't have the resources to help you. On top of that, imagine everyone taunting and dehumanizing you while you and your family starve, freeze, and get sick. People can be so cruel. I wonder what their beloved Jesus would think of them.
