Ron Howard's dad attended most of the tapings, and even appeared in a few episodes. I seriously doubt that there was anyone who Ron Howard hated. He even contacted Andy Griffith to be sure he would be included in the reunion show. So, I don't know what this is about, and nothing is stated regarding who this person supposedly was.
