He has survived the test of time to adapt to his vocal abilities. His voice hasn't wavered. He sings many forms of music including gospel. I heard him sing Take My Hand Precious Lord the other day. The strange thing I discovered He sang that song the way I do. Singing traditionally is nice but adding your heart to a song stirs one's soul & heart. That's what he does with the songs he sings.❤

I saw Tom Jones perform with Van Morrison at forest Hills Theatre in New York about two years ago. They both brought the house down. A great combination. He had a great voice, and was good looking too. He came to Adelaide not long before his wife passed, he held the Audience in his hand for the whole consort, he was just brilliant. I am going back to Wales for a holiday, and the Welsh National Eisteddfod is in his home town of Pontypridd in August, I wonder if he will come back to visit his roots?
