Join us as we walk you through an easy at-home art project using objects you probably already have around the house! This one could get a little messy, which we do encourage. If you're not up for setting up and cleaning up your own messy play, join us in person at our Messy Sensory Art Classes in Los Angeles and we'll do all the work! Miss Lydia, our Sensory Art Coordinator, walks us through!
Materials:
• Paper
• Tempera Paint (see easy alternative below)
• Found objects like sponges cut up into shapes, a plastic fork, cookie cutters, popsicle sticks, foil, etc.
• (optional) markers or crayons
If you don’t have paint available at home, you can create your own DIY taste-safe paint with this recipe:
-1 cup flour
-1 cup warm water
-Food coloring
We suggest mixing the flour and water first, then separating it into paper cups or cupcake tin. Then add food coloring to create different color options. Mix well!
