Last week I had an anniversary lunch with the girls I started my nurse training with 40 years ago. It really lifted my spirits, well needed. So much to talk about, so little time. So glad you had such a great time. Well deserved Vivi

So pleased you've already had viewings. My instinct is that it will be snapped up quickly, thanks to your hard work and meticulous prep. Assuming it will probably be a single person buying your place, anyone viewing it will immediately feel that it'd be safe and comfortable home for a person on their own.

I’m so glad you prioritised going to the reunion, you can only celebrate 30 years of knowing each other once! I’ve just been to a 50 year reunion of my college friends and I’m so glad I put in the effort to travel. I have to say we had all changed, many grey hairs and creaky joints but it was a delight! Congratulations on you 20k subscribers!

Had to add this Vivi. I’m due to move into my little unit in a retirement village by the end of the month. At 70, I’m finding it a bit of an ordeal this time. I’ve always been a bit of a gypsy, moving almost yearly sometimes. Listening to your video, it hit me that I was trying to be in a future that hasn’t arrived yet, stewing over things that are out of my control at this time…..I’m taking your advice and enjoying living in the moment. I have jobs that I need to do where I am living at the moment that I have NO desire to do….. I AM GOING TO DO ONE OF THEM TODAY. Thanks for your videos Vivi. So many people myself included have let that little voice take over and stopped us from doing or going somewhere your Inspiring and Gorgeous lovely.Your absolutely glowing right now and it's contagious...aww to of been a fly buzzing around your group in the pub that evening would of been very interesting indeed. I did a theatre course here in Australia when I was in my forties. I’ve often wondered where all the younger ones in the group are now. Your reunion sounds like it was a great night, and very life affirming for you. You know the old saying…. ‘ A place for everything, and everything in its place’ Well it sounds like every ‘one’ in your group have found their places in life. How wonderful for you all. Hi Vivi! I'm not sure if you've completely discounted Swanage, but I noticed there are several ground floor flats listed on Right Move as '200m (or less), level distance from the town centre'. I couldn't see any with a private garden, just communal, which is a shame, but it would be nice if you were by the coast (salty kisses, sandy toes...or sandy kisses, salty toes....one of those!😁). Although for socialising, staying closer to London, although expensive, would be hard to give up. I know from considering moving myself, it certainly helps if you can narrow the search down to a specific area, so my apologise if you've discounted Swanage already. All the very best!

I recall my mom saying the same thing about her 30th reunion. She said no one's trying to impress each other. Everyone's genuinely just happy to see each other and be together. Glad you had that experience, too!

I just experienced the same feeling at my 50th high school reunion! I was kind of nervous to be honest as I had not seen many in 50 years! I could recognize about 90%, women more than the men. However, being the nerdy gal in high school, I never would have gotten the smiles, hugs and friendship I felt at that weekend. I think at this point we were all grateful to be there as about 20% already passed. We appreciate being here to enjoy everyone's smiling faces.

I love meeting up with my old college crowd. You have such formative experiences with those people and get to know them so well, you just slip back into your friendships. It sounds like you had a wonderful night. I can’t wait to see the Salt Path. I loved all Raynor Wynn’s books. I’m glad you have a lot of interest in the flat. And I really hope you can find something suitable for your next stage.
