Okay i have a question. When i pass, sometimes i will get a ball high up on my platform so i have to jump up a little so i can get my platform under the ball...is this okay or is this a bad habbit? Victoria I love your videos!! I enjoying learning from you so much!
@@victoriabrowne I mean come on.... starting at minute 10:00 10:05 10:10 you pass 3 in a row with a little adjustment hop, and the one you hopped the most was the most accurate... I'm sorry, but the first response should have been a question:- when you do that do you still put the ball to target? Are you accurate or not. If you are accurate, it's not a bad habit, if you're not accurate you need to correct it. The most important thing in passing is to be efficient and accurate so- The more tools you have the better. Float serve flight path is very unpredictable so if you need to make a split second hop, to adjust height it's ok!!
I don't play volleyball, and never have except for in middle school PE but I always regret not playing it 😂 it just looks so fun and so much hard work! I love your videos!!!!
I'm going to High School next year and I'm going to try out for the Volleyball and Baseball team(really just because I watched these 2 animes about those 2 sports) and you really help me out cause NOBODY EVER wants to play with me so it's nice to watch your videos to see that I can improve a little while in quarantine.

i suddenly remembered victoria's serve routine 3 dribbles, then she slaps the ball, which starts spinning afterwards am i really the only one who wonders how she gets the ball to spin on her hand after slapping it? XD

Try to become the best at any position they give you, each one has unique talents and skills and you won't know how far you can take that talent. You can try becoming an outside but just incase work on your vertical if you haven't already!
Wow!! Gosh, it saddens me that I did not find your videos earlier as I’ve been desperately trying to better my volleyball skills for a few months now. I sure took long enough, haha. I had tryouts a few weeks ago and this helped so much! I was looking up videos on RU-vid, messaging the coach asking her for vidoes and tips! I made the team and this for sure improved my passing. We have our first game already in a week😬 I’m very nervous so I’m gonna continue practicing!
Thank you so much for posting all your videos! I’m going to tryout for my schools volleyball team next year and i’ve only played my towns rec league, which is way less competitive. I’m 5’2 so i want to make sure i’m good at volleyball to make up for my height. I’m also horrible at setting but all of your videos have helped me improve so much!

Ahhh, this is all super helpful. I'm in my second year of high school unfortunately though our school doesn't have a volleyball club which totally sucks but after the pandemic is over I'm hoping to find a volleyball club elsewhere and my ideal position is libero so I really love all your tips!

how can i gain confidence for volleyball? i’ve tried out for my school’s team before and i didn’t make it. so, my confidence when down a lot. i’ve just felt so bad about it ever since and i’ve labelled myself as a bad player that’s not committed (i haven’t practiced in a few weeks) how can i not label myself as a bad player and help my self esteem go up in volleyball? how can i improve on my passes, serves, and serve receives more? if anyone can reply to this, that would be amazing :) 💕

Hi Victoria, just noticed, when you pass at the wall, you hardly bend your legs, you just move your arms. In the Soviet school we're taught that volleyball is played with the legs mostly. It's a kinda joke, but still. I would assume you should make quite little moves with arms, but most of power should come from legs. Are you taught differently in US?
Vry useful video...but if the ball attack on the face and how to pass ball. without using fingers.. because ball power so high.If we use fingers, there is a lot of pain in the fingers. Plz give me solution...
