I love voice overs because you are explaining everything. I had no ideal that pasting over the hair more than one time can cause heat damage as well as using heat protection products. To me, that's important information. I have always thought that heat protection products are helping, but when you think about it the heat is cooking the product in your hair. I want to stay natural, and I want to know, how to moisturize my hair to get the shine without it drying and becoming frizzy? I want my hair to be soft to the touch, and have moisture at the same time. I know I don't want my hair to be weighed down with product. Any advice would be very helpful. Thank you

Hello, I stumbled across your videos as I am trying to take better care of my natural hair. Great details! ❤ Ive been trying to find better tools and wanted to know What type of brush are you using while blow drying the hair? I didn’t see it available to purchase in your store?
@HoneySwtDrms

Do you still do the roller sets before the blow-out? I prefer that method because it seems healthier and gives more volume at the root post--blowout

Thank you for this informative video! You are truly blessed by God to do what you do. Your work is a standard for all. Please recommend types of shampoos and conditioners for clarifying, for volume, and just weekly washing and conditioning. I would also like to see a “how-to” on how to properly flat iron long hair. I have trouble turning in an effort to get nice curls. Thank you! 💕

Did I listen right? No heat protector? Naked hair!?
@NinaBaby210
@NinaBaby210 Год назад
So🧐 You made a statement that MOST stylist would fervently disagree with?!?!?! NO thermal protectant(no pre-straightening product), to ensure no heat damage? HOW does not using heat protectant ensure no heat damage. You said it, but you haven’t explained the Science that supports your theory? I get how the less product, the more movement…..But not even a heat protectant??? How?
@StudioTechilo
@StudioTechilo Год назад
Can you explain how using heat protectant ensures no heat damage???? All products on the market don’t always do what they are marketed to do. We’ve tested both ways on multiple textures and came to the conclusion that using no products has worked best.
@NinaBaby210
@NinaBaby210 Год назад
The Science: “Heat protectants create a barrier or film around the surface of the hair, known as the cuticle - they’re essentially a shield between your heat styling tool and the hair,” explains Esther Olu, a cosmetic chemist. According to Olu, these barriers are usually made from polymers, silicones, and even hydrolyzed wheat protein, depending on which product you use. “The mechanism is sort of similar to how sunscreens work. Those create a barrier to reduce UV damage, but in this case, the barrier is protecting against heat damage. In turn, that helps reduce hair breakage and improve moisture in the hair.” And I guess; yeah. products can, and do at time “false advertise?” That doesn’t dismiss those that ARE actually formulated to prevent damage….And the proof of that would be those that use that product and do not incur damage… It’s not really debatable…But hey; what you tell your clients doesn’t affect my hair’s health so….Proceed My Dear!🤷🏾‍♀️
