The first instalment in the Stay At Home Choir series of videos and podcasts, catching up at the end of the day with all your favourite artists and composers who are involved with our different projects.
I sing with a community choir in the US: Maryland Choral Society. Our choral conductor Dr. Douglas Buchanan is a marvelous composer of “new music” for us to sing. I’m just listening to this interview between Tori and Sir James McMillan on September 16, several months after it was recorded. I am so enjoying singing with the stay at home choir and the VOCES8. It’s a marvelous thing that Jamie and Tori have created and I just love it. Thank you so much 😊
What a great interview. Interesting to hear from one of the most influential composers of the past 30 years. I wish more interviews could be done over a glass of wine.
Hello from the Chicago suburbs! Love "O Radiant Dawn"-- this was the first time I've heard it (or sung it). It was fun to sing (I'm a soprano) and it's so nice to have a chance to sing with other people, if at least virtually, since I can't sing with my own choir right now :-( Looking forward to how this one comes out!
Greeting from Sabah, Land Below the Wind, North Borneo, East Malaysia. I've registered with Stay At Home Choir and I've upload my 1st video for the song And So It Goes and will try to join again for the song O Radiant Light. I'm attached with the 1st all male community choir, The Male-Efficient. Our choir members consist of diverse background. Thank you for the beautiful songs and the opportunity to join the virtual choir.
