This is a great way to showcase how a plane trip happens, start to finish- not just as an english learning tool, but also to diabled individuals like those with anxiety or on the autism spectrum!
I'm on the Autism spectrum and by watching this video, it helped me learn how to travel and know the basics of going to the airport and figuring things out. I understood everything and I learned a lot of new words and the instructions were made clear.
FINALLY! A helpful video which gives you clear steps with pictures to show these steps, cutting out all the waffling and stupid things in other videos. I'm flying from London to Boston tomorrow on my own for the 1st time, and I am nervous, but this video rlly helped! Thank you!!
Hello! May I see your passport, please? Here you go. Thank you . And where are you flying with us today? I'm going to London. I'll be studying there for a year. How fun! That sounds like a great trip. I see your information right here. Are you checking any bags today? Yes. Just one Perfect. If you could place it on the scale for me, that would be great. Here you go. Thank you. Hmm...its appears your bag is just a bit too heavy. It is over our weight requirement. Perhaps you could take something out of your bag and put it in your carry - on bag? Yes! I'll take this big book out of the bag. No problem Great! Now your bag is ready to be checked. I see you've chosen a window seat, is that still okay for you? I think so. I've never flown before so I thought it would be nice to look out at the clouds. Do you think it will be a good seat for me? This is your first flight? Well, that's fantastic! You're goinf to love it. And yes, i think the window seat is an excellent choice for you then. Let me print your boarding pass, and you'll be ready to go. Okay. Here it is. You are all set. Thanks. You're going to depart from Terminal C Gate 54. When do I need to be there? You should get to your gate about one hour before departure. And how do I get to the gate? You will turn left at the coffee shop. Security will be directly in front of you. Once you are finished clearing security, follow the signs to Gate 54. It will be on your right Thank you so much for your help. You're very welcome! Enjoy your flight! Passport and boarding pass, please. Here you go. Thank you. You can go on through. Sir, you need to remove your coat. And your belt. My coat? And my belt? Yes. And your shoes. My shoes too? Yes, please. You can place them in this bin. You need to empty your pockets and put those items in the bin as well. Do you have any liquids in your bag? I do. I have a water bottle and some hand lotion. You'll need to take those out. The water bottle is too big. You can either drink it right now or throw it away. I'll just throw it out. The hand lotion os fine because it is in a small container. You need to put it in a plastic bag, though. Do you have a bag that I could use? I have never flown before, and I didn't bring one. Sure. We have extra bags right here. Thank you. Do you have laptop in your bag? I do. I'll need you to remove it as well and place it in a bin Okay. Please put your bag on the conveyor belt. Now please step thourgh the scanner. [bip bip bip bip] What's wrong? Please step to the side. Stretch out your arms. I'm going to scan your body. [bip bip bip bip] Are you wearing any jewelry? Oh yeah, i think my necklace triggered the alarm. Sorry about that. Allright. You're all clear. You can pick up your items from the scanner, and you can head to your gate. Have a great flight! Thanks. United Airlines flight 803 to London is now boarding. Please have your boarding pass and indentification ready for boarding. Excause me, miss? Yes. My window shade is broken, and I cannot open it to see out the window. Would it be possible to switch seats so I can have a window with a view? This is my first flight, and I want to be able to see everything. Of course! Let's move you to Row 38 Seat B. You will be able to see out from that window. Thank you. Could you tell me how long this flight will take? We should be in the air for about six hours. Okay. Thank you. You're very welcome. Would you like something to drink? What do you have? We serve coffee, tea, and soda. I'll have coffee with cream please. Here you go. And would you like something to eat? That would be great! What do you have? We have a turkey sandwich, a chicken salad, or a vegetarian pasta. I think I'll have the turkey sandwich. Thank you. Excuse me. Can you please tell me where I pick up my bag? I checked one bag on my flight here. Yes. What was your flight number? I was on Flight 803. I see. It looks like your bag will be arriving on Carousel 4. And how do I get there? It's right around the corner. You'll see the number 4 on top, and it should list your flight number as well. Your bag should be arriving soon. Great! Thank you! You're welcome. Passport please. Here you go. Thank you. And what is the purpose of your visit? I'm going to be studying here at the local university. And for how long will you be staying? I'll be here one year, until May 26 of next year. And where will you be staying? My address will be 473 East Town Street, Apartment 3C. It's in London. Do you have anything to declare? No, I don't. You're all set. Enjoy your stay! Thank you.
I hope to travel as soon as possible I wanna travel all over the world, meet new people, discover new places and know more about every country's culture .
Most helpful video I have ever seen. I’m going to travel alone and i am a bit scared . There are a lot of “what if” in my mind . But this video helped to calm me . Thank you
Thanks, a helpful guide, not only to the beginners but also to those who forgot the means of getting in the terminal, maybe we still know, but it would great if we get a refresher.
I'm freaking out just thinking about flying. But I'll try to get rid of my fare as soon as possible. Thank you dear easy English for your labour and everything what you're doing for us. Nowadays we can learn everything from the internet especially English. I see no reason to take a private tutor because we can learn so many useful things from your channel. I watch one video everyday from your chanenel and it helps me a lot. Thank you so much.
Your comment is quite fun. Although I don't know any language , I went to some contries in the world and I used to show my idea by body language. it's easy.
I'm going to visit New-York early next year. This video would really help me learn how to do at the airport terminal. and I hope my English speaking would be improved until I get on a airplane. Thanks a lot for your efforts.
this is quite realistic, thank you, the only difference though is that there will be a queue and the conveyor belt will always be moving pressuring you to act quickly(
I was in the air for 12 hours from London to China. Then from China to Saigon Vietnam 3 hours in the air about 3 years ago. The trip was great I got cheap ticket I could afford.
Let's learn English speaking by watching this video. Practice by listening is fun way to master English speaking skills better. Thank you for sharing English conversation Focusing on Airport Main Idea.
The funniest thing is the part where he says it's his first flight and he's unsure if he chose the right seat. The attendant seems to be ironic, but in fact, she uses marketing to encourage him not to become desmotivated, at 1:33, this in a certain way, shows us how much more it is worth convincing than offering haha And we see his expectations broken at 1:43, but everything was resolved. Anyway, I'm really enjoying following the stories for my fluency 😍
At the airport terminal, the planes are landing Traveling somewhere and it feels fantastic Rolling across the terminal floor And the sky's so high and the ground's so low And I think I'm dying but I'm just being born At the airport terminal, the planes are landing And through the terminal, we all shall go At the airport terminal, I feel so unusual And everybody here is having an unusual day It's 10:24 in an unusual time zone And I'm feeling fine in an unusual way And we're going so high as I'm flying so low And I'm saying goodbye to the world I know At the airport terminal, the planes are landing And through the terminal, we all can grow And it's time to let go But I'm lying down on the terminal floor And I'm running toward the terminal door And I'm eating porridge but I've heated it for the wrong amount of time At the airport terminal, I feel so imaginative Imagining where all the planes are going And when I'm there I'll imagine where I came from Then I'll imagine my way back home But it's 8:45 and I'm on the next flight It's going around the world And we'll fly through the night 'til the day becomes bright Until the night returns When will the night return? Hey At the airport terminal, the planes are landing One day soon we'll all be together Until then the terminal carries me through Yes, this is the Lyrics of at the airport Terminal.
Very useful conversation and vocabulary! I can't wait to be back at the airport and traveling again after I get my Covid vaccine and it's safe to travel again!
Guys you're really amazing!! This video is great, I enjoy watching it. I already saw the first video about "The Airport" one year ago I guess and both are perfect, like all the videos in your channel without exception....Thank you so much♥️♥️♥️
