They didn’t show the full clip. Rangers had a player injured and they put the ball away for a throw in so their opponents were about to hoof the ball back up the pitch to give it back when Tillman ran in and won the ball.
Clip doesnt show full context and nobody in the comments seems to know, so as a Rangers fan who watched the game heres what actually happened: Partick Thistle (Red and Yellow) were trying to play the ball out because one of our players was injured, Tillman (initial goalscorer) wasn't aware of this and proceeded to tackle the defender and score. As a return of the planned gesture of goodwill, our manager and captain agreed to let Partick run down the other end and score themselves so that they weren't unduly punished for trying to do the right thing. The clip doesn't show the injury, but if you saw the full game, you could see the Partick player slow down and start looking to put the ball out once he noticed. It was the right thing to do and I'm glad we did it.

Looks like someone outside the camera was already down and out of play by the way they were positioned. Defenders slowed down and stopped playing for a second but the guy who scored clearly didn't give a shit about fair play.

Context is everything here. Partick Thistle kicked the ball out for an injured rangers player. The goalscorer didn't notice this, so he went in full steam.

That's not at all what happened. The Rangers kicked the ball out for their player Tillman to receive treatment. After the throw-in from Thistle, the Rangers stole the ball and scored. Thistle's Holt said he wanted to shoot the ball into the Rangers half so they can have to ball back. After the confusion the Rangers allowed Thistle to score.

This clip is from the match Rangers vs Partick Thistle, where this guy kit number 71 (Tillman) was just in a jostle a few minutes back and was slightly injured, and then the other player from Ranger's team (blue team) sent the ball to the outside so that refree and medics could take care of Tillman. As the ball was in blue team's possession before and was sent out in order to take care of Tillman the other team (Stripes one, Partick) decided to take a throw in and then give the ball back to the blue team's goalkeeper so that the blue team could start the game again with them having the possession again as they had before the ball went out of play, this was being done totally out of good gesture by the other team. Instead the guy that was hurt (Tillman) rushed towards the opponent team not knowing that they were going to give possession to the blue team even though they were telling him by pointing towards the Ranger's goalkeeper to start the game from there, Tillman kept on rushing and scored the goal. The team was furious because they were not expecting any kind of attack and were not defending properly as this was explained to Tillman later on and the manager the team decided to give one goal as a good gesture, as a compensation for the confusion by Tillman.

I don't get this! I played high level youth soccer for years ...50/50 ball.....guy wins it makes tough play to score a goal and then his team gives it right back.....? What is this tomfoolery, this video has got me very confused. The first goal was just fine and the defenders were too emotional, butthurt and full of ego to accept it. I mean it seems they came to an, what appears to be a kinda forced, agreement but this is just making fun of other actually sportsmanlike moments of football.

Basically what happened was the player that scored was down injured and partic thistle tried to give the ball back to rangers but then the injured player got up and intercepted the partic thistle pass that was going back to rangers gollie and then he ram up and scored that’s why the players were so angry ( ik cause I was at the game 😂)
