Dr. Rebecca Sippel, Endocrine Surgery Section Chief of the University of Wisconsin Department of Surgery, leads an in-depth discussion of parathyroid disease diagnosis with an online support group.
‘Liked’ this video because the content is extremely helpful. Sound quality sucks, however. Was a struggle to hear what’s being said. Would be wonderful if this were to be redone, with better sound. Again, wonderful content. Have watched many videos about hyperparathyroidism, and have read plenty of published medical literature on the subject. *Still* learned valuable information from this video. Thank you! very much!
How true! After 20yrs of symptoms & fluctuating labs, osteoporosis, chronic kidney disease, stones & a compromised immune system surgery scheduled in 3 weeks. What a waste of 20 yrs
Frustrated, slightly elevated ionized calcium serum up and down 9.9 to 10.4 pth 36 have been sick two years vit d36 frequent urination terrible fatigue also have adrenal jnsufficiantcy please help no one will look into this
This information is not accurate, you do not have to have high calcium to have PHPT. Best doctor in the USA, consult is 200.00. Personally I would not use Norman Parathyroid Center. Have a look here www.hyperparathyroidmd.com/contact-us/
