Loved her. Much like Selena, Jenni had just signed on to crossover to the English market and create an album, but was sadly taken before she could start recording. Selena and Jenni, both beautiful, talent and proud Mexican-American women who were taken from us way too soon.
not true actually. On Ilovejenni after her death the family planned to release an english album in 2013, and her kids and family say in 2003-2004 she recorded english music before parrandera rebelde y atrevida album. She was getting into english music since then and even has a few english songs out already.
She was the most talented, beautiful and wonderful singer, and I like her and her music more than I like her brother, Juan Rivera (he'll never do an interview in English at all). R.I.P. Jenni. Your music will live on forever.

I met her and her brother at a studio in long beach. We were ending our session, and they were coming in to do recording. Met them for a few minutes before she and the brother Lupillo ever made it big. At the time, she was singing hip hop, trying to be the next JLO. However, she hit it big with the Banda Music.

She was growing in the American side as well, she was becoming international this is why she died too much envy. As soon as Selena sang in English and started to attract Americans, she too died. Selena Quintanilla and Jenni Rivera woman who have gone out there to empower our spirit to work hard and believe and love no matter if its killing us to love. They been a power house to many woman for courage. Woman have been suppressed for too long but they as Mexican heritage have shown us all its possible to DREAM and FLY like a Butterfly.
