Very nice video. I hate when people clap right when touching down though. It's not over until you're on the taxiway. You can land and still go around...
Could not land at all last year, we flew to Tenerife refuelled, took off again back to Madeira, could not land again, ended up landing on the island near Madeira and getting a boat. Was on the plane over 8 hours!
boatsplanestrains They usually try to use just half of the runway when they land from Santa Cruz but if they went a little bit further they wouldn't need to make a hard landing. I really don't know why. It is a tricky airport though.
