This is a wonderful thing to watch. I grew up on the Gorham Rd in the 40 and and 60s. I attended St Benedict school in Cascade. I still have family in Berlin. We had a wonderful life there! My father had a welding shop on the Gorham Road. I had a lot of family on the East side. Thank all of you for producing these films. It certainly brings a lot of joy to many people. I used to work at the St Louis Hospital admission office.
Born and grew up in Berlin, graduated from Berlin H.S. in 1943. Anyone remember me? My parents had a ladieswear store on Main St. My best friends were Sigrid Towers, Dorothy Elliot, Nancy Burbank, Betty Stein. I am Rosalind Naboshek Zitner.
My mother grew up in Vermont, and wanted to date a nice boy, David. Her mother said NO BECAUSE HE IS A JEW. That was bad......but my simple Irish mother got treated like SHIT when she walked into the Jewish store Hoozes in Concord NH because she was not rich. The Jews only paid respect to the RICH. Simple reality. I worked for Jews, and it was all MONEY MONEY MONEY MONEY MONEY pinch a penny be as cheap as you can/ Simple FACT REALITY, not a stereotype.
