Welcome to day 27!! Such a beautiful sunrise and some time in a hiker town! Some of the best days on trail by far. Feeling great and loving my tramily and all the miles!!!

Those aren't "baseboards" that the pictures are hanging from. They're called "plate rails". That's a lot of folks hung pictures when the walls were made of actual plaster, in part of avoid damaging the walls. Great that you noticed the great details in that lovely old home.

That is the first hiker video i have se3n elmers hostel. Cool looking old Victorian style house. Make sure you all go up to top of rich mountain fire tower as the views from up top of tge tower are spectacular.

The moldings supporting the pictures is called "Picture Molding". All of the old houses had it to keep from putting holes all in their walls.

What a fancy place to stay! This is a magical place to visit , how lucky to meet such amazing people- this hike is mesmerizing to see and the experience of it must be such a great part of your lives that you can never forget- grateful to be following the tramily- thanks!❤😂🌿🙏

It really is! You are apart of the tramily! It almost feels like it isn’t real. Especially when someone leaves. Within a few days it feels like they weren’t there at all and all that’s left is the memories they leave behind. I’ve been so greatful for each and everyone of them and for you!
