That's a funny way to put it, after i know they tried to license it in the first place, contacted you about it and you even send them a good scan of the cover so they could make the poster... and how did you like the vinyl copy they personally gave you when you told them you like the project? It's funny how these guys always leave out the fact they promised to limit the pressing and how they wanted me to prove ata kak's existence, as if I would make up finding him. They tried to license it? You mean after they pressed it, very ethical. Nice smiley face. Just because someone gives me a copy of their record doesn't mean I have to kiss their ass. Let's see if they can come up with good music without wear big blackface at parties. Get facts straight then talk shit to people you don't know.

Nice condescending attitude, mate. If you took even a minute to do some research, you might know that the titles posted on Awesome Tapes From Africa were, and many largely remain, out of print. Brian has brought light to a whole region of the world and worked to re-release this music to a wider audience in tandem with the artists. So, when you decide to get off your arse and do something similar, perhaps then you might have a more reasonable dialogue.
