That was hard i died many times and the only way was using the arrows and wait on the 3rd block then go on the other side fast and easy but i had to move the level and go all the way fast to go to the end and win the vault ugh. It's a great game but some levels are really hard including some puzzles and bosses.
if anyone is having trouble with this vault it isn't you. I had been playing my game completely on nightmare up until the vault and after hundreds of tries I came to the conclusion its not possible. For me at least I turned the difficulty down and beat it on the very first try so I just think like all games with a difficulty select some things are not balanced and i don't think they tried this vault on nightmare bc I genuinely don't think its possible at all.
@@ryanmcdohl3138 no it's not impossible on nightmare if u have some skill at jump and run and the upgrade where you slow down mid air while shooting the bow you can get there
This was made by sadists. I thought I was doing it wrong but turns out the timers are so tight you won't have a chance if you don't have stamina potions with you. If you play on Nightmare, get some stamina potions. I spend around 10.
@@mmh2120 the hovering ones that you do as the first ares mission? Hyping me up if your talking about that one considering I had basic gear, 3 hearts, 0 upgrades because I wanted to explore and thought the forge was in the forge lands to upgrade gear. Only way I did that was because I realized accidentally that if you jump on a box, use the Herakles bracers to pull a box from below you it will shoot you into the air because the pull from the box will push the box your standing on straight up
this vault is impossible on nightmare difficulty even when doing it correctly on nightmare it always runs out before u even get to the next platform area bc of the shortened time added to the difficulty i even used potions for stamina in between jumps and it still ran out of time
Ok, after reading a ton of comments I finally discovered why in the video they're able to run through red fog. I only ever played on nightmare so I didn't know that red fog works differently or stamina works differently in lower difficulty settings. The first checkpoint of this vault is damn near impossible on nightmare, but I did pull it off after like 50 attempts. It requires the multiple dodge upgrade and PERFECT execution. You have to dodge forward to move faster.
Glad I found this video to confirm that game difficulty absolutely affects the Tartarus vaults as well. Whatever difficulty this video is on, gives him roughly 10 more seconds on every section. He's getting through without dashing, without optimizing his jumps, without taking the shortest path through the platforms corners, without creating a second quicker headstart. I'm at attempt number 20 right now, I keep falling 0.5-1.0 seconds short every single time, while having almost optimized every meter of this course. I'm playing on Nightmare, assuming it would just affect the monsters in the game. Had no idea they cut the timers on the puzzles in half as well, until I saw this. That's crazy

On the middle group of platforms if you stand on the third one (before the lose stamina ones/ LSO'S) and shoot and curve the arrow to hit the target behind you, immediately run forward and as the LSO's go up then hit the target you should have plenty of time to get to the last pillars before the chest,I thought this one was pretty tame,I just needed this video because,I didn't know about the targets at first lol It had all been timed jumping up to that point but,all in all it took about 8-10 tries,it's difficult but,not the worst
right, do the first switch then spike up a couple of times then while flying again(it is tricky but worth it) 2nd switch area part o k, 3rd switch 2.00 hit it but spike up to the last of the 3 columns left of switch stand on top then jump then spike to the chest ! done it first time after about 40 attempts the other way, just keep jumping and spiking to the lightning. remember to hit the last pull switch though it raises the columns to the exit. i used my right thumb on the cross for extra blue stamina. there is atougher vault in the forgelands called, poison, cold and fire, which i am still working on.

That's part of what makes the vaults stand out! The cosmic theme, the thematic music, the great puzzles (compared to BOTW these dungeons don't seem as repetitive and are fun to solve) But vaults like this..... Make me feel like I'm playing DS1 sens fortress again xD
There on a lower difficulty setting. On hard you have to take the shortest path possible & use any stamina that recovers to sprint. Nightmare is getting me too much.
I don't think so... the reason IMHO the person designing this vault should be fired is the simple fact that this is replication of the original Tomb Raider games where you HAVE to jump just from the edge to make it. If you jump too soon, you'll fall. This is not challenging, this is BAD design. (At least in my opinion)
@@alulyis6616 But you need the Air Dodge Skill for that. I came back to this vault with it and it made things tolerable. I should've bought that skill sooner.
Who ever created this level needs to be PIMPED SLAPPED. This level takes the fun out the game not good platforming here! Where's Super Mario when you need him
@@lfrizzlyl2244 Gotta agree. I had my mind stuck on the messenger one and kept trying to use skills and realized I could just run + jump hold to beat it. Once I realized I didn't need skills (until the arrows for the chest), I breezed through it.
This game and these stupid vaults. Glad this is impossible on my end because where you used your berries to get more stamina back I tried it in the exact same spot and it just ate it instantly
Extra chest was easy, don't pull the lever it's not needed, it's there to throw you off. You can get to it with ease, just by going the normal route and taking your time
It's so easy because you have longer time. The first and second part you just tanked all those anti stamina cloud. You pashed all by simple running and jumping. it doesn't work on nightmare. My timing seems much shorter than this. I guess this Vault is for end game when you have all stamina bar to use ares' wrath, glide, Athena's dash like crazy and full upgrade mushroom stock.
I'm really glad you said something because I thought the difficulty only tied in with fighting enemies. I've been playing on nightmare in all the other vaults fine, I even have all the God's powers and maxed out health and stamina and yet I still fall short a step on the last pillar platform of the first part of this level. Imma take your word of advice and try it on an easier level. This shits's ridiculous, I ain't no speed runner!
Some of the vaults in this game are SUPER difficult but I’m starting to think some of you should just play easier games 😭 there’s no way all of you think this is *that* difficult, it’s only worth 2 skulls
