It was Atarashii Gakko's very first gig in Germany. There was no support band, no pre show warm up to speak of, except the smoke machine kicking in ten minutes before. And yet, the 1300+ venue was not only sold out, but erupted once Atarashii Gakko took to the stage.
I shot the first three songs and then put my phone away to clap my hands and ride the groove. One hour later, I was slightly exhausted, but very happy.
As I was standing pretty much in the back and did not want to block other peoples view by holding my phone above my head, this is certainly not the best of all fancams, but it catches the atmosphere in the hall quite niceley. I intentionally did not zoom in because I wanted to give a good impression of the entire choreo. If you want more and closer shots of the group, @anokopiroti filmed the entire show (!) in Brussles four days earlier directly from the barricade.
One detail: The girls wore the new iteration of their sailor suit inspired costumes that we first saw at Coachella earlier this year.
Seeing them live was definetley worth it. Grab a ticket if you can!
