Before even watching the video and based only on my Electronics knowledge and the title. Atari 2600 No Power Can it be fixed YES IT CAN !!! the board is pretty simple and straight forward Troubleshooting as i watch the video.. Step 1 - Test the transformer / Power Supply if it is outputting Voltage . I think it's 9V DC on the output Step 2 - Plug in Transformer and flick the on off switch and confirm Mains wall power is all ok as well. if not, Pull the unit housing apart Step 3 - Test the Main capacitor, Just... Because you can. 2200uF 16V should need an E.S.R. of approx 0.10 at most Step 4. - Check the input inside the case of the power and for presence of 9V DC and follow it to the main connector. and No. the Main connector CAN'T be put in the wrong way Step 5 - Test the Voltage Regulator and Test all the power rails on the Main Connector. Once you're on the Yellow Board it's pretty easy, Also check the voltage on the Primary Motherboard to see if pins are not disconnected. Step 6. There are 3 Chips MOS CO 10750 - R.I.O.T. (RAM Input/ Output Timer) MOS C010745 - (aka 6507) - Primary CPU C011903 - T.I.A. (Television Interface Adaptor) - Audio and Video I would first be checking the pin config of the 6507 (which is a miniaturized 6502) and i'd be checking (not to sound cliche) CHECK FOR VOLTAGES Let me know if you need the voltage values for a working 2600 on the Main Connector. and up to this point, it should be pretty clear if there is or isn't voltage and why . Troubleshooting past the chips is another matter and i won't go on. But a NO POWER issue should be detectable up to this point. and now after watching the video to the end..... it was that damn cracked joint at the power jack........... As i said, Up to the CPU you should have a good idea of what's going on
