Atari Falcon 030 | A.T.S. | Demo by DHS (Re-Upload!) 

It works fine with Falcon's 50Hz RGB mode! Use 1920x1080 setting for 50Hz or 1280x720 for 60Hz to get (almost) right picture proportions. But Falcon VGA is a bit strange. My Desktop when booting from harddisk shows some horizontal stripes (it's pure Falcon VGA with green background), but looks ok when bootet directly to low-res Desktop (Control key). Many demos (like A.T.S. ^^) don't work in VGA, while others (e.g. Menace by Mystic Bytes) work flawlessly. 🤔 You have to be VERY patient to get the Browser controlled user interface of the GBS-C "online". I really don't like this WLAN approach, as it's quite unstable. I really DO like positioning and stretching of the picture to the correct position and proportions! Biggest "issue" I have so far, is the randomness on video mode changes! It can work well (as you see in this video), but still can have glitches sometimes. This demo took me more than six attempts for a 100% run! But of course it's still better than the OSSC in this case. But it definetly will not replace my OSSC! I only tried the Falcon so far with the GBS-C, can't say anything about the ST or Amiga.

@@TPau65 Thanks for your detailed answer. My plan is to use it's VGA output (just a linedoubler for 15 kHz modes) into the Medusa. Then hopefully there will be no blanking as the GBS will keep the image constantly progressive. I'll get one and see where it goes from there, at least I know it's not a total bust (PAL is working) :) Thanks again.

@@estrayk It has advantages, absolutely. For example it can do composite, svideo inputs as well as RGB. It can also output a specific frame size making it possible to capture more or less pixel perfect, for example ST-HIGH looks perfect. I've yet to see OSSC do it like that. However, it is also more limited in some ways, for example it will not like a 1024x768 VGA input, while OSSC eats that without issue. OSSC also have a remote control which Medusa does not. Medusa have something called "fingerprints" to recognize which computer you have connected, and it will automaticly apply the settings you've saved for that. There are a bunch of pre-defined fingerprints. For example if I connect an ST, it will load the correct settings and display that. If I connect an amiga, it will load those settings and tell in the display that's an Amiga. This is one of the shortcomings in the OSSC in my opinion.
