No, it's not the Chameleon, nor is it a piece of dentistry equipment. It's the 64 bit Atari Jaguar, released in 1993. The Atari Jaguar is another machine I saw on television, in magazines and in the news, and had deep cravings for. Look at this 64 bit behemoth of a machine. 64 BITS?! How was this even possible. The games looked impressive, the controller was packed to the brim, this was the future. Well, it was for a few months at least. But even after that time, I'll never forget the image of Alien vs. Predator etched on my mind. Being a huge fan of the films, this game seemed to capture exactly what I needed, it even looked better than Doom! It was reassuring to know that after a few decades and finally getting my hands on it, that it played as well as I had imagined. Anyway, let's take a quick look at the Atari Jaguar and it's brief stint in the limelight of 1993 and 1994.
