ATC for Beginners-Part 1-Background 

Thanks for the video. I am very new to this and I love the idea! Awhile back I was out yard sailing and ran across an estate sale. The woman I tire house was filled with crafting stuff. Ink pads, stamping stuff, paints, scrapbooking materials, jewelry making stuff. When I say a filled house, I mean every room was stacked to the ceiling with all sorts of amazing items. At the time, I wasn't smart enough to take advantage of what was in front of me. From now on, you can bet I will be.

love your video, very informative, especially on making cards from a poster board. Since I'm new to this type of craft, I just assumed one could purchase at Walmart, well my Walmart does not carry them. I did pick up a P B at $tree n will make some. Now I'll watch part 2. TFS 🤓😎

Not a beginner anymore but still loving these!! You must do a nail video!! Do you put them on yourself or does Emily put them on for you?? I tried and they looked so stupid and all the filing down to get them to fit my nails...a nightmare but yours look FABULOUS!! Please do a video sometime--would really appreciate it!!

Love these ATCs 💖 I have only made a few, but I want to start making them just to give away😊 So not use to doing Art on a small size...so I have been Practicing. Kelly do you do inches too? Now that is really hard for me...my fingers don't always work 😕 TYFS...LYABM. ❤️❤️❤️

I have noticed playing cards are the same size so I use them instead of posterboard

Love them. Years ago I bought a large book of 12 x 12 scrapbook paper. Very ugly stuff. Lol. So going to turn it into atc's. And a lot of other stuff. Thanks for sharing.

That was funny about the medication, I actually LOL and it's pretty hard to make me laugh. I'm not making fun of no one, I laughed because I'm on alot of medication and it was random when she said it. Wasn't expecting it.

Yeah make sure people know that poster board is not archival and it will yellow. You can still get good card stock cheap that is acid free.

You don't sell them - they're for trading only. If you sell them, they are technically no longer Artists TRADING Cards.

This is great just what I needed to get me going. Because I've felt so intimidated by my full page art and junk journal. So this helps to break it down for me. I learn by verbal and showing instructions and you nailed it. Thank you Miss Kelly, have a blessed day love.

3:05 For the metrics among us viewers that 635 x 889 mm. Basically a large business card. DIN A7 is 74 x 105 mm which probably is close enough. So you could use A7 cardstock packages 100 pcs per unit, I guess. :)

Love this series - can't believe I never thought to use a stencil brush with my ink pads, thanks for teaching me a new technique

So you just take like an embossed card and paint it ? When you did the black why didn't the black show up, that made it so pretty. I couldn't get into this until that part. Some paint brushes are expensive and I'm not that creative so I'm not going to invest a lot into this but which would work better? The craft paint/regular paint brushes or makeup brushes?
