Yes they are taking back their own things. The deed of the Ship has Hongjoongs name on it, listing the ship as his. I've always thought Hongjoong was angry as he's being held against his will, but then finds the key to get out inside the ship when he throws it in anger. Then when he leaves he basically burns the place to the ground in revenge. I believe it's in the first Universe show they had where they are space pirates and all their things get stolen, then they have this video to go with it, also on the Universe channel, where they steal them back. I can't remember the name of the show tho

Yes, you noticed Hongjoong's acting. For me, he's like a natural actor, which is why his performance is so good. And to the point where the director praises him in this Don't Stop MV behind the scenes and on Dejavu MV, the staff cheered for him with the members. Hongjoong knows how to make good gestures to convey the lyrics and bring the emotion.
His acting is so intense! He really has this presence that commands attention. I'll be excited to see him get the praise he deserves when we end up getting to the behind the scenes videos 🤗.
Aye aye aye aye! Musically "Don't Stop" really gives me the 'under pressure, I can't breathe but I can't stop' vibe. Like all the background stuff weights on the track like it wants to put pressure to the point of explosion. Which I can hear in the track and see in the mv. It's always pretty satisfying! You were on the right track! ✨ Their reactions to their mvs are so chaotic but San-i is always the best hype man!😂 It's super interesting listening to the two of you making hypothesis as you watch and eventually grasp the general meaning of the mv and even some details. Yeah you were right in that they were taking back what they had stolen from them. Mingi went after the compass, WooSan went after the telescope, Hongjoong was after the ship but couldn't find it until he smashed the model and found the key, then Yunho Seonghwa Jongho and Yeosang were after the deeds of the ship with their money. Also funfact but all the fire is real and so is the car driving into the wall. The behind the scenes is so cool. But it was so cute seeing how Mingi was so proud of himself for not flinching during the explosion even though it singed his hair a bit
I’m so glad I noticed the key, I almost missed it since it was so subtle! I’m continuously amazed by their level of dedication to their art, like having the real fire and explosion and just continuing to act right through it. They’re amazing 😭
What I took from the MV is that they had the ship and everything taken from Ateez. Captain looked like he was beaten and is mad that everything was taken. The rest of the members are in the process of stealing everything back. I think that Mingi was taken and beaten, but it was just a way for him to infiltrate. There my be more info in the diary series of the albums, but I don't have all of them so I'm not 100% sure. Edit: Of course, I comment before watching the video LOL
No, it doesn't connect to the album storyline in any obvious way. It's almost certainly Halateez but it's hard to say if it's in their past or their future
I always love how much you pay attention to the details of the lyrics and music, it's always so interesting to hear your thoughts and observations about it!! I also appreciate the deep analysis of the music videos, as someone who has an empty mind when watching something, I can get really distracted by their visuals sometimes and my feelings about what I'm seeing 😫😫 If you want some help with the story line I recommend checking out the videos of eterniteez! (maybe you can do it after all the catching up with the albums and music, or you can do it privately too!) She put together, in a chronological order, the canonical events that were in the diaries entries of the fever albums! But obviously that's just a little part of the story! If you go back and look at the giant "compass" in the MV for "Illusion", you can see Z on top and A on bottom (where N and S would normally be), signifying the 2 universes/dimensions we know of by this point that the Cromer can access... it looked like an E on one side too, but I couldn't see if another letter was opposite, so I have no idea how other letters would tie in.
Yeah!!! Don't Stop is one of my most favorite ATEEZ songs. I just love everything about it 😆 In my opinion, this song is kinda underrated, but it's understandable cause it didn't release on their official channel though. Btw, I'm not sure that you guys already know this or not, but ATEEZ will comeback with their 3rd Japanese mini album on November 30!! 😉

Ya y'all got it right! It was taken from then, hence angry captain joong in the beginning and then all members go separately to get their stuff back. And when HJ broke the small ship to get the key which was inside it, the ashes got into his eye and he got the eye patch. Also I think maybe it was yeosang, not sure but they spoiled that they have something special coming up for Halloween. They also teased something at the end of KCON Japan, not sure tho is it was for their japanese cb which is happening at the end of November or their next cb. Can't wait tho!!!

It has very few views mainly because on the day it was released (and for the next week or more after that), it was released on the Universe app ONLY and also many people were posting their own copies of the video on their own RU-vid channels (which were all later blocked/deleted). I remember MANY Atinys were very upset that this all happened saying that the actual/official video would lose counts AND were also upset that KQ Entertainment did not post it on their own channel initially. Many Atinys feel that the video lost credit for most of its views for this reason. But I believe it was explained that it's a song and/or video belonging to Universe so KQ didn't have any say in all of this ??? Bummer....

... i wrote a lot... and then as i was clicking on the page, i clicked cancel comment. maybe i should just not write so much... well, here's what i'm able to remember... I think this song is very interesting. Not my favorite, but it's not bad. I actually really like the instrumental. I usually like to have bass beats in a song, this one didnt really have any, except maybe during chorus. And there's something about the chorus that makes me think old school rap vibes. idk what it is. Mingi looks like he was pushed out of the car. I also think everything that happened was planned. That's why they were able to pick mingi up, because they knew where he would be. And as you can see, mingi picked up something from the wreckage of the car. It does look like hongjoong was looking for something. When we see the ship broken, we can see a key, so i'm guessing that's what he was looking for. I don't think he knew it was in there. And yeah, when we set everything on fire, threw down the ship, the fire particles must have flew up into his eye. That's why he was wearing the eye patch. The 4 at the pawn shop are looking for something. And they find it in the safe; the deed to their ship. If you pause and read what's written on the paper, its cool; the details! I think WooSan are definitely supposed to be getting some mapping materials back, like the telescope. The card flip on the pop in the song is one of the most satisfying things ever in an ateez video lol. Anyways, the 4 from the pawn shop go to pick everyone up and hongjoong meets them at the end. I also saw Tori looking at the hood emblem of that statue of a lady. I think that symbol must be very important. It had a whole "scene"/frame of the video. They wouldn't highlight that if it wasn't important. I would like to say, I've seen that symbol (the hood emblem lady) somewhere else as well; a video they did with wonderwall. so i am convinced she/the symbol is very important. I can't believe we finally get to see their ship. Also your guys' expressions in this are great, funny, and relatable! And when WooSan popped up for the first time, her expression lol... same girl same. They're all quite good looking in this mv aren't they? I love watching their reactions too. And also sometimes they explain things or share stories of what was happening on set. Or they even elaborate on the meaning of things. Someone else mentioned that they thought Mingi's abduction(?) was planned. Which makes so much sense because it seemed like he wasn't surprised when the car blew up.
