ATEEZ (에이티즈) - "Guerrilla" MV | REACTION 

This comeback seems so different from their usual genre but still very ATEEZ. They are one of those groups that can slay any type of concept and genre.

dude, the way i lost my fucking mind at the screaming vocals. been needing to hear that in kpop again for so long. exo’s MAMA was not enough. this song was an instant add to my playlist! the MV is crazy too. i love how the CG dance scene is made to look like those old soviet union era propaganda posters. i haven’t seen anyone mentioning that so i was so happy to hear you did because i think it’s genius! they knocked it out of the park with this one.

ATEEZ is now alone on his own category of KPOP: Legends. Once u saw them on live u will know they are in a superior level.

the vocals in this are just…..wow. They could have sung it like it was just any other pop song but instead they adjusted their voices to fit a more rock sound which I love them for. It was especially noticeable for me in the bridge (? I think it is, that part where San slides across the floor lol), all three of them (San, Yunho and Jongho) did it amazingly but I really noticed it with San’s voice, idk something about the way he sang it was very reminiscent to the way rock songs are typically sung (it also stood out to me because I’ve never heard his voice sound like that before, he’s so talented when it comes to vocals whew). This whole comeback is revolutionary fr, no one does it like Ateez.

The Music Bank live stage of this is killer. They also have live stages of the b-side 'Sector 1' which are so good. Cannot wait for your reaction to the full album. Guerrilla definitely makes me clench my fists, grit my teeth, and wanna fight something or someone.

Is it just me or has Jongho's vocals reached a whole new level?? I don't think I have ever listed to an album on repeat like this, they absolutely killed it!

Everyone and their mama is jumping on the "rock concept" in k-pop but i'm 100% serious when I say that NO ONE IS DOING IT LIKE ATEEZ!! Like pls the screaming?! The heavy metal-esque guitar?! NO ONE was ballsy enough to do the rock concept like this! The closest we got was the raspy vocals from TXT but it wasn't like *this*! So far..this is my favorite comeback of the year!

I agree. Best Ateez comeback since Answer. Very different but somehow still very Ateez. I love the screamo and just when you think it can't get any more intense in the chorus it ups it another notch by morphing into that Muse like post chorus. My favourite title track of the year so far.

I don't follow Ateez, but this song is amazing and really hype. Ever since "Poison" by PinkFantasy I've been wanting more screaming in kpop tbh, so this great 👍

At this point, can we just make an Ateez x Dreamcatcher collab happen? Like, most of the groundwork is there already and the choice to have this sound for the comeback is literally screaming for it. Some of the backdrops are very Jazz Age/Prohibition era indeed. Reminds me of the art and architecture from the Bioshock games and Ayn Rands novels 👌🏼👌🏼

So, and let me start with the fact that I never claim to be good with theories, I have a theory about the people on the covers. The sign on the facility where the action takes place says "Strickland Waste Management Facility", in other words this is where things are going to be thrown away/discarded. If these hooded figures are people who have had all their energy drained, maybe these people are on the spot because they are about to be discarded somehow? Ateez, as the leaders of this rebellion would be making a powerful statement, aligning themselves with these "disposable" people and choosing to start their rebellion first with those that society deemed unworthy or useless. Mingi says he's the leader of the vanguard on Thanxx... and there he is, leading the vanguard! I feel a deep affinity with the Left Eye and am happy to see him portrayed in such a good way: as a combination of Mikhail Bakunin (among the most influential figures in anarchism and the main founder of the socialist and revolutionary anarchist tradition) and Gandalf. I loved this song, and Cyberpunk, but I don't think you'll like the rest of the album because the amount of autotune😭 I say this because I've seen your opinion about this in other videos and I agree with you, cause Jongho doesn't need it, his voice souns so much better without autotune but they put A LOT of it in some songs:( anyways i would like to hear your opinion about the rest of the album:)

I’ve always liked ATEEZ, I’d say they’re in my top 5 boy groups (along with iKON, Oneus, Monsta X, and Seventeen), but I’ve been feeling kind of disconnected from them recently because I haven’t loved some of their recent releases. Unfortunately I also REALLY didn’t like this one. It’s kind of a weird combo of not liking it at all while listening to it and also completely forgetting everything about it while I’m not listening to it. While I have had some recent ones I haven’t loved, this is the only ATEEZ title track that I actively dislike. Other than a few moments I wouldn’t even think of this as an ATEEZ track, to me it just doesn’t have the charm that I loved ATEEZ for. There have been releases this year I’ve liked less, but this is probably the one I’m most disappointed in.
