as a staytiny, i dont think you get to decide what other atinys get offended by, like of course you would try to side with them because you got strayteez crumbs. The comparison was completely unnecessary and he could have praised his voice without mentioning a single name other than yeosang’s own. Yeosang is yeosang and they could at least know their names before they start trying to say they remind them of someone who doesnt even compare to him.

What a stupid comment and they pinned it! I don’t think you get to decide how people feel about this and constant comparisons, these ‘reactors’ have been seeing ateez for a long time and not to know at lease one or two members? How? That just show lack of respect! You do not get to decide what we as atinys think Yeosang and his voice are unique, so are from other members, no one in stray kids can sing like Jongho, no one in Stray Kids has the same vibe as Hongjoong, Mingi’s presence, Sani’s performance skills, etc so telling that they are similar is such a bs! If you’re a staytiny then you should know just how different the both groups are! Stray kids are Stray kids and ATEEZ are ATEEZ!

@@RLP1117 no one is obligated to know names but I wish more people understood what it’s like to always have to remind people to see ATEEZ as ATEEZ and not as another group. This wouldn’t be an issue if it happened once or twice, it just… happens a lot. Uncomfortably so.

@@RLP1117 ​ I am definitely not deciding whether or not someone should get offended by it or not. I am a single person in a sea of fans, it wouldn’t be fair to do so. I am simply stating I am in both fandoms so I get what they meant with their comment about the energy both ATEEZ and Stray Kids bring as I experience it from both groups. When someone does not know a name, they tend to go by frame of reference. Not everyone that watches a lot groups knows every single name. Some people have a particular hard time with learning names and there are a lot more reasons why they may not know a name. Or they may know names but not be able to place the face to the name et cetera. We are all different which also means some people want to learn the names of every group they hear, others only want to learn the names of their fave and other might not want to learn names at all. For me it is totally understandable that they then say that a certain person they noticed reminded them of another person because of perhaps similarities. That can be the deep sound, it can be the way the members voice was utilised or where in the song said voice was added. It does not by default mean they just decided that that person is then forever stuck in that. I feel that it is a perfect opportunity to then for example teach them the name and explain some things about the person. I saw some comments being mean about it which is just something I tend to dislike as I feel it’s important to be a positive force and that will often lead to better things than calling a person names, being condescending or anything in that regard! Again, just my opinion, I don’t speak for anyone else! ☺️

The reactors did the same manner once when he said Mingi has RM's vibes. The reactor looks like has no idea to describe Ateez 🤭

The human brain works by tying new information back into things it already knows. What they said was not wrong. They weren’t saying Felix or Yeosang were better than one another, which would have not been okay. All they said was that they got Felix vibes because of how a deep vocal tone was being implemented.

He simply said he got reminded of him, it's common to say what's on your mind and what reminds you of always relating things like the mortal combat they got reminded of. If he compared them and saying they copied his style whatever or said one was better than the other I would be offended but that was just a simple thought with no bad intentions :)

Couldn’t agree more, people get so worked up and for what? Just let them react how they want to sheesh. I think people also forget they don’t listen to KPOP on a daily basis or completely immerse themselves into the KPOP world so of course they will make comparisons, not remember names etc.

@@nanibrothers you have reacted to Ateez multiple times and still can’t recognise the members but you know other groups pretty well, I call this lack of respect and interest, if you don’t know who the members are it’s ok, but do not compare ateez to any kpop group especially members individually bc there are no other people like ateez! If you can’t respect them then stop reacting to them

Idols as trainees get compared and compete with one another and have all their flaws picked apart by entertainment groups, I seriously doubt they would care that some fans would compare “their vibes” with other colleagues in the same industry. But if that makes us pitiful then alas we are now the Pitiful Brothers 🤪🤪
