Hongjoong's older brother is a contemporary dancer, he even choreographed Hongjoong's dance solo in an end of the year show. He also is a vlogger on youtube, there's many videos of them together.
When Hongjoong joined KQ he could only eat fried rice and nothing else because he didn't have money and that's all KQ gave him, that's why he got tired of it back then and regretfully got angry with his mom :(
