The lyrics make a lot more sense if you know that they're calling out stalker fans, including an incident where one put a tracker on their car (like the opening of the vid), multiple incidents where their private info/contacts have been bought/sold; they've been followed and stalked. Between the stalker fans and the haters, this is an epic, and very pointed, diss track.

honestly i was the same way with the lyrics when the eng translations first came out, but i think the MV translations are much better though some nuance gets lost in translation. the lyrics have lots of info that requires lots of prior knowledge that i feel like only huge fans will get right away, but some are more straightforward ex: - "delegated it to the brand little by little" speaking on their come up and their current ability to wear designer items when they originally had nothing - the pre-chorus calling them crazy and noisy is a reference to what lots of people criticize ateez's performances and their music as - seonghwa's "But yes, oh my doctor said There's a lot of room left to grow" comes from the endoscopy wanteez episode. seonghwa has a physically large stomach but it also acts as a metaphor for his and ateez's never-ending hunger in their careers - hongjoong's "If you want to put a GPS, put it on a suitcase, not on a carnival, You can be busy too" references the time their van (a KIA carnival) was found with a tracker on it. so he's referencing that time and basically telling the stalker to get a life lol - and his "Numbers without sources Don't mean a thing to me at all" can allude to stalkers selling their private information sorry this got so long i just found it so interesting how much backstory was packed into otherwise seemingly straightforward lyrics! love watching your reactions!! can't wait for the next 3 mvs !

They also mock what people say about them: “they are so loud, wack” “they are crazy” “out of control” . The gps part was mocking a stalker that put a tracker in one of their vans. And I believe they talk about money since the industry is all about payola and stuff, but thats my own interpretation haha

3:56 idk if u meant the whole lyrics as a whole but that part there was word play so it's kinda hard to translate to english to give it's full meaning. Personally it was very cool for me so i wanted to say it . “but my doctor said there’s a lot of room left to grow” it directly means there’s a lot of place in 위/wi can means both “stomach”and “up”. The eng translation made it sound like the doctore said they need to grow more but seonghwa meant there’s more room at the top, (so he’s coming ). Also reference to his endoscopy results, where the doctor said he had a lot of space in his stomach so he can eat a lot .

Ateez is definitely one of those groups where translations leave a lot out. Even outside of this song, I know Mingi's lyricism gets overlooked (he's soooo talented) because you'd have to know Korean sayings/culture to get it. But I lowkey like that. Like yes, please be good at rapping in your own language. That's how you can appreciate the culture

it's harder to get the lyrics' nuance through translation, though i think the subs were pretty accurate for conveying the general message. certain korean wordplay isn't neccessarily conveyed, and it's also harder to understand without the fandom-specific context what certain lines are referencing. please check out the full album, you're in for a treat!

The flow to this song threw me when I first heard it but now it’s one of my favorites. The video matched it perfectly. You can’t help but get hyped and move. The lyrics and shade being thrown at sasaengs is epic. You gotta check out the whole album. It’s so good.

Matz refers to Hongjoong and Seonghwa as the oldest member in Korean Matz mean 'oldest'. Hongjoong's line "If you want to put a GPS put it on a suitcase, not on a Carnival, You can be busy too" is a references to 2021 where they found GPS trackers on their Kia Carnival. After that line Hongjoong raps how they need to get a life or they can put GPS rather in their luggage becuz they are always travelling around the world so it's useless to put them on their cars.

Love MATZ so much! I have a feeling 2024 will be the year of Ateez x Atiny and i as a OT7 Army i can't hope more for them, they alsways stay who they are. They deserve so much for all their hard work, struggles etc. It's gonna be damn time that people open their eyes (or let's say their ears😂), and they are being recognized in the Korean chart lists and award show´s. Ateez's story is so similar to BTS. Small company, not recognized for their hard work, hrs of practice, cheap clothes, hunger, insomnia...It also took us years, but we finally succeeded TOGETHER! From now on they can only go higher, thanks to Atiny's! Never give up hope no matter how hard it may be sometimes, and the higher you go the more hate comes from every angle, even unexpected ones...stay strong as a fandom and stay true to the boys!
