Oh and FYI, San is ATEEZ's 2nd best vocalist. Jongho also said that when it comes to vocals his San hyung is always the one beside him. San has such an amazingly calming vocals. I truly love his voice
it's true that san is their 2nd best vocalist during debut era to answer era but now from what i've seen seonghwa and yunho really look like they are stepping up their game. especially yunho his chest voice really improved and i think he is starting to utilize and develop his head voice more while seonghwa seems to improved at belting . for now it safe to say that ateez 2nd best vocalists are san-yunho-seonghwa.

I still believe it’s not just Yunho, he might be ‘leading’ that part but I can VERY clearly hear Mingi in it from vocal tone to pronunciation (personally even think Mingi is the one leading), I mean they often combine vocals especially in choruses to get a specific sound. Officially they say [all] are singing that first part of the chorus, but clearly not all their voices are prominent

I actually love how many Ateez songs are badass, awesome, anthem-like but also have such a positive undertone, beautiful and inspiring, hopeful lyrics (also many b sides that are like that) but Say my name and Answer for me (in sound and lyrics) are such hope-giving songs and you feel this 'unity', you feel less alone somehow and inspired to... I don't know like make the world a better place, start a revolution against the evil in this world stuff like that (that last thing is smth Wonderland inspires very much too hahahah)

After every song they dropped so far I think "Say my name" is still my all time favorite followed closely by "HALA HALA" 💕 It's just so perfect, I love the concept, the outfits, their styling (Hongjoong with a mullet 👏👏), the choreo and mingis voice 😳 Like I can't get over this last part of the song when he sings basically acapella I get chills every time I hear it 😩♥️ And what I really can't get over in every dance practice are the synchronized footsteps, like you're so freaking in synch and that's so beautiful x'D I'm going to watch the 2x speed version now bc every time I see the choreo I just have to see that again :'D

Okayy story time.. Say My Name is that song for me...I was blown away by the visuals of the MV. Mingi's 'disgusting' voice and Jongho's vocals lured me into this fandom.. through this song.. and I noticed Hongjoong first coz of his Mullet.. and Wooyoung..coz damn that boy is fine.. My absolute fav part in this song is that note change in the end...when it changes to almost EDM like vibe.. and also the transition between Mingi's rap and Hongjoong's rap in Verse 2. Only a mónth later did the full official MV for Hala hala come out (still a performance video tho). P.s. that short black & white video was literally what got me into Ateez, it was so beautiful to me and just perfect in every way...only too short LOL. this is the first appearance of Halateez. Throughout their mvs you’ll see many references to them, some super subtle. it’s their dark ego taking over and this is really where you see Wooyoung becoming an ambiguous figure in the group. is he good? is he evil? is he the balance between the two? we don’t know yet. their mv universe is insanely complicated and they are literal geniuses for coming up with it. not me rewatching hours and hours of their mvs to piece together their storyline😭😭
