I think the first comeback is almost more important than a strong debut. It tells you the direction and momentum of the group. 2019 is Ateez's year! I was sad that they didn't win any rookie awards, as far as I know. They were up against Stray Kids from JYP which really hurt their chances. I love SK, but being from a top agency certainly helped them at the end of the year awards shows. I don't know much about KQ Entertainment. I think they manage Block B or are a subsidiary of a larger company? Not sure. Korean company connections are really confusing sometimes. But, KQ obviously has a strong vision for Ateez that sets them apart from other rookies. Expecting big things 👏

It's pronounced A-TEASE. The romanization of their groupname (에이티즈) is pretty clear. Look: 에이 : ei 티즈 : tiz The hangul romanization is a really specific pronunciation. Every sound in the word is written in it. That's why the "a" is romanized as "ei". And the "tee" part has this character 티, romanized as "ti", with the type of T that the word "tease" has specifically. If it was pronounced "eighties" it would be written like "에이리즈". And if it was "at ease" it would be "아티즈". In conclusion, it's definitely pronounced A-TEASE lol

When I first listened to it this morning, when i heard Hongjoong’s part (5:06) i was like “ohhh Anthony is gonna like his flow on this part” ... then my boy got the light 🤧

I think maybe it's like they are trying to discover their true selves and there are two sides of them. They are asking the side of themselves in black to say their name to remind them of who they are. Almost like asking "who am I?" But they aren't getting an answer which is why it looks like an interrogation.

They have their own color and sound that i really love and their individual personalities are so sincere, genuine and funny.
