I am living for the self-satisfied expression on Jongho's face when he heads for shore with the octopus in this episode. Clams, mussels, conch and other similar crustaceans have similar but varied flavors. Clams have a slightly chewy texture with a flavor similar to a lean white meat, but not chicken, maybe rabbit or duck only oceanier. There is something distinctly fishy about them like you experience with shrimp. Another comparison I would make would be snails or frog legs. They're yummy.

16:41 as someone from the Bay Area where people love clams- i hate them. i’m someone who has a problem with texture and i can’t eat them because of it. to me it feels like swallowing a slug or boogers 😅 but to each there own i guess…

I dont eat clams often and i only know two type... i cant remember when the last time i ate it. The small clam i tried it feels like it taste like how the soup tasted 😅 and its a little chewy and soft. And the other one i tried is oyster, and its only one time and raw. And i didnt chew coz it feeels weird😂 for me.. its slimmyyyyy and sour since they added lemon on it
