He's become more quiet and only engages in the convos when he needs to. It's not a bad thing at all! It's just his personality and it's cool to see a different and REAL side of him. I can tell he is the kind of person who doesn't like to be fake on camera.
yes im glad someone noticed it, during the whole live mingi seems less talkative unlike the other members and only being serious talking about their comeback. i dont want to make any joke about him when he's being serious so i kinda feel bad for the lack of mingi in this vid :'))

I'm just happy that we both noticed it, since I also haven't seen people talk about his on camera personality change at all. Like literally, not alot of people notice these little things. don't worry! i think mingi said it in his vlive(I dont remember which one but i think his birthday?) that he is actually a chill person in real life compared to what he show on camera! :) he is aware that people notice how he changed but after all he is still our one and only sunshine. he is fine with his members and we genuinely love him and he know.

Yes, he's definitely a good role model! I'm an introvert too and started out as very shy and quiet until I gradually realised it's really okay to say a comment here and there. I'm more of a social introvert now (I actually really like talking to strangers if they seem nice) but it took pretty much all my teenage years to slowly become like that. I think that Hongjoong being introverted probably helps him see the members better and make sure they have the chance to speak, because if he was the quiet one at some point he knows what that feels like. I've also noticed that being the oldest in a situation triggers a "oh shit, I'm in charge of the babies" function where there's this pressure, but also pride, of being the one the others can lean on for support in the situation. That being said, I'm glad Hongjoong has Seonghwa who hopefully can help him with the team in their every-day lives behind the cameras. Oh, and I don't know how bad your social anxiety is but I know that it can get better. Take it slow, you can do it
