Man, I gave up on choosing a bias. First it was Mingi with his deep voice, then it was Seonghwa with his fine self and beautiful voice, then it was Hongjoong and his facial expressions and crazy rap, then it was Yunho and his dance, then it was Wooyoung and his laugh, then it was San and his breathy voice, then it was Jongho's powerful voice and just...him then it was Yeosang's cute self and his deep voice. I've given up. I can't choose. All of them are my bias and they're all coming at me😭😭😭😭😭😭

Ayyyyy it's your first Ateez comeback!! Thank you for delivering, and lmaooo Yeosang just took the words out of ALL our mouths haha. lore-wise, this seems to be a direct continuation of Inception rather than Bulnoriya, like if you see the lyrics Inception was about dreaming of someone you haven't met but you know, Deja Vu's lyrics is about finally meeting that person and it's CRAZY because wow it's like I've known you before. BUT WAIT, they probably have met before, because in the Zero fever pre-Inception movie, the 8 members were friends who had a falling out before Hongjoong was given the hourglass to fix things. Presumably, after that they started time-travelling/dimension hopping and forgot each other, but in Deja Vu they meet again (see how the video has the basement as the subconscious and the rooftop as the conscious at the end AFTER they remember) and this "unlocks" the memory deep within them and gets Hongjoong face to face with halateez as he "remembers", note that Hongjoong has so far been the "pov character" as he was the one to go into limbo in Inception. BUT THEN, Yeosang is visited by the butterfly and that passes the hourglass to him, making him the new pov character as he "jumps" with the hourglass to a new set that we'll see in Eternal Sunshine!

Dancing in the rain is a WHOLE feat. That part of the choreography is already intense, but in the rain you end up using so much more muscle to help control your movements and your body, otherwise you can slip so easily or look like you're about to lose your footing. To be that aware of your body and being able to use enough muscle tension to keep control while not looking stiff and still alternating between the different choreographic textures is NOT EASY. They are seasoned performers in 4th gen bodies I swear. And again, they sell it so well with their ability to really emote (this is also not easy for everyone to do! some dancers/singers can't act).
Also! It is super impressive because, depending on shooting schedule, rain shoots are usually done at the very end of a very long day of shooting because once you're soaking wet you can't really go back to shoot stuff where you're supposed to look dry... so a director will often do lots of shooting before the 'rain' sequence. It could be that they shot it on a separate day, but I highly doubt that. Rain sequences also tend to be more intense in the way they turn out, because you don't often get the opportunity to do that many takes given the nature of the shot... and its not always fun dancing in soaking wet clothes with water running into your eyes haha... so I think the mindset is often 'give it everything you've got so we don't have to do this 20 times'
I did not expect San to look THAT good in this video, but there he is....and then Chan and Hyunjin's video for Red Lights also came out this morning....plus it's Yeonjun's birthday....man, it's been quite a day
